RACE Injection is the final chapter in the RACE 07 series of games, ending the award winning series on a high note. Best race simulator collection ever built. Totaly worth few euros as you receive a lot of tracks and cars to drive ;)

No pude negarme y mi pensamiento voló hasta posarse en los hermosos ojos de su entonces joven madre que, disimulando todos sus miedos, nos deseaba suerte antes de competir. Ya en Kågeröd y después de un almuerzo lleno de anécdotas, fuimos disparados a lo nuestro. Al llegar al autódromo me llamó la atención lo simple y austero del mismo, similar a los que tenemos en casa, pensé. Lo primero que me advirtió Fred, mirándome de reojo, es que acá se manejaba con embrague, caja H y sin ABS ni control de tracción. Ningún problema, respondí. Me adapto a lo que sea. Al subirme a su WV y recorrer los primeros metros por boxes hacia la pista, noté lo bien que respondía a mi mando. Las primeras vueltas de reconocimiento requirieron de toda mi concentración, ya que los constantes desniveles impedían ver algunas curvas por venir. SimBin whom made the Race07/WTCC/GT titles offers a variety of older racing games. Standout features are varied. Too dated. In theory one can make one of the most realistic steering wheel racing experiences using some of the IP Simbin has on offer. I think I remember saying they had attached a variety of sensors on real life cars and translated the data into the engine with impressive results. Being able to mod extensively seems an interesting avenue to streamline the content from all the products, improve the UI, add more tracks... I would start slow and proceed methodically, starting by hunting down discussion groups online or a fan site. Setting up a steering wheel is a dedicated passion project that requires quite a fair bit of logistics, it is a bit like VR, where you preferrably have to dedicate a space of your house for it. It is not for everyone. I am glad to own a copy of this series as it does seem to have quite a bit of quality features but the lack of accessibility, age and somewhat obscure qualities makes it best kept in the archive rather than on central display in your permanent library. As such I will remove it to hidden library for declutter along with the rest of the SimBin collection. Conclusion: There is no shortage of quality racing games using modern engines to pick from, and some have decent handling and physics of their own. Unless you go all out with the simulation project and mod this IP in and out and bust the steering wheel out it is unlikely to really compete or compare all that well in a simple KB+M, regular user type of experience. If i ever get serious enough I'll just go dig back for this game in the archive or get a newer franchise that accomplishes the same thing such as Raceroom https://store.steampowered.com/app/211500/RaceRoom_Racing_Experience/

I will never understand this franchise, like there are shedloads of DLCs, the controls terrible, couldn't even start the car at first (still can't xD), and why did I buy all DLCs 10 years ago? What was I thinking?
