Just a fun game with fun puzzles and story Q.U.B.E was a game I got a long time ago and forgot about but was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The puzzles themselves are well thought out and reminds me a lot of Portal. The story as well was something I didn't think I would enjoy as much as as I did. There is a fun story playing in the background as you solve puzzles that had me thinking about it long after I finished the story The DLC and time trials where not for me and frustrating but still well thought up and creative. The only thing I dislike about this game is that sometimes the physics of items sometimes bugs out and you have to reload your save, sometimes having to go back a good ways from before the glitch happened Overall though Q.U.B.E was a fun experience that I would recommend if you want a just all around good puzzle game
Top 5 in its genre.

It’s a short 3D puzzle game that definitely wears its Portal influence on its sleeve. If you need a brain-teaser that respects your time, this is a solid pick for an afternoon session. The Good: The Puzzles: This is the main event. It’s all physics-based logic that starts simple and ramps up in complexity nicely as you progress. The Length: It’s a tight experience. You can knock out the main campaign in under 3 hours, making it perfect for a quick entertainment fix. The Content: If the main game isn't enough, the included Extras and DLC add some solid value to keep you going. The Not-so-Good: The Presentation: The story and graphics are... fine. They are functional enough not to get in the way, but they certainly aren't anything to write home about. The "Wow" Factor: It doesn’t reinvent the genre. It’s a competent puzzle game, but it lacks the personality or polish of the titans it’s inspired by. Verdict: It’s a fun puzzle-solving romp. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a few hours of logic-based entertainment without the commitment of a 40-hour epic.
this one is hard to rate because it was fun, but the storyline felt a bit short. however at the final sections the puzzles started feeling a bit repetitive, so I feel like if it was any longer it would get pretty boring ? so yeah. overall i recommend it, specially if it's on sale. one thing to note though, there's only one slider to control all the audio in the game and there aren't any subtitles, so if you're hard of hearing or just has trouble concentrating on speech when there's a whole lot of background noise, you'll miss a bunch of the narration because some areas are just extremely noisy. that pissed me off a lot.
While I enjoyed this game for the most part, especially as a fan of the Portal games, it certainly had some things that dampened the experience for me. Some of the game's later puzzles, while not particularly difficult, were a bit tedious to complete. On top of that, sometimes the physics of the game, on which some puzzles heavily depend, would just straight up break, forcing me to start over some puzzles repeatedly. Despite all that, I would still say I had a good time with QUBE. Great vibes, solid puzzle design, and a decently intriguing plotline.
This isn't a strong Do Not Buy recommendation, but this game is just... It's fine? The story feels grafted on—as it in fact is, having been added for the Director's Cut—and none of the puzzles are particularly interesting. Even the puzzle that awards you an achievement for beating "the hardest puzzle in the game" isn't one that requires a ton of thought so much as it requires annoying control fiddling to execute the solution. A few of the puzzles are also subject to the classic physics-based puzzle problem of the solution not working on rare occasions because the physics put something very slightly out of alignment. You can easily reset and repeat, so this is only a minor annoyance, but it is still an annoyance. If you do want to play this game, though, the fans seem to be in near unanimous agreement that you should get the 10th Anniversary Edition instead of this older one, so even then, I can't really recommend this. [I received this free many years ago for having previously purchased the (no longer available) original version of the game, which was also just sort of fine.]
