Puzzle Quest: Immortal Edition

Начнём с того, что по сути, игра Легендарная. Была у меня на кнопочном телефоне в начале 10-х, но и на ПК тоже. В то счастливое время универской жизни в общежитии был у меня товарищ, который, познакомившись с этой игрой, примерно через 12 часов осознал, что ничего почти не ел, и не пил, а также ночь не спал из-за неё, после чего собрал волю в кулак и удалил игру. Конечно сейчас, когда тебе уже 30+ того азарта и восторга нет, но после тяжёлого рабочего дня тихонько поиграть в Puzzle Quest самое оно. Хотя, если честно, хотелось бы его на телефоне и именно этот, а не 2 часть, где часть механик была вырезана. В целом переиздание приятное, поможет скоротать приятно и не напряжно не один час. Да, геймплей не блещет разнообразием, но всё же оставляет некоторую вариативность через способности и ряд других механик, вроде питомцев. В целом приятно рад, примерно таким, наверное, должен был быть Heroes of might and magic 3 HD, а не обрезанным куском...

It was only relatively recently that I found out Gems of War was taken in mechanics from Puzzle quest. So, coming from a game I have almost 150 hours in this game felt so easy to pick up. I instantly put the difficulty to the toughest there is and played the entire campaign through along with all side quests. The gameplay is a modified version of match 3 with the different colors of items you’re matching being mana, and every time you match something you gain mana of that color, which you then use to cast spells. I love the fact this is an RPG with many spells, Items, and mechanics, heck it even has boss fights (which were the hardest part, Bane was the most challenging). The game also offers some variety with some puzzles, different game modes for learning new spells and a times mode for leveling up mounts. The story and writing is also surprisingly decent, I really liked the dialogue and characters, specially Drong. The one gripe I have with this game is the terrible art, and I’ve seen the original which surprisingly looks a lot better, but this isn’t a deal-breaker, I couldn’t recommend this game enough. Overall score 9/10, insanely fun and a great side game while watching a video or listening to something.
