This game is a flawless representation of what its like to get popular on social media. Thanks to this game I was never a Twitter user. I once played this game a dog's age ago, then only recently came back to it to realize that the phrase "You are a sack of broken calcium" applies to so many of my former friends that I had no idea what this game was preparing me for until this moment. Call it a clouded moment within a bong rip. But when you play this game and realize what it's like when failure occurs you'll understand what I mean. The only thing that separates this game is from actually being a social media simulator is the fact that there is a game to played here, you don't have to scrub your identity if you fail. And best of all at some point fairly early in the game, It tells you to relax. It even has the courtesy to let you press esc if you're too relaxed.
insanely good arcade with insane replay value with epic "funny" jokes
the new version is called "AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome" exactly, in case you read the other review and looked for a game still called "a reckless disregard for gravity" and couldn't find it
Decent enough, but there are at least 2 other versions at this point. Same game, slightly new iterations and graphics.
Some games are just fun and no amount of explanation can fully convey why. Something about falling through floating abstract geometry is deeply appealing for 10 to 15 minutes at a time. This may not be the game you put the most time into, but it will always be a joy to load up and play. For 10 to 15 minutes at a time.
My friend I play with said that if I post a review about the game and it gets 200 likes and 100 rewards, he'll buy me a bag of chips and a RTX 4090. So I'll leave this here.
I got this game in a bundle in 2011 because I wanted Portal 2 to come out quicker. Now, it sits at the top of my library, the title annoying me a little more each time I see it. I think I played it once over a decade ago and felt nothing while playing it.
Not interesting at all... is it because I am late to it? Maybe, and yet the game feels messy and actually becomes quickly irritating and cringy by playing the hipster/youngster with its menus and style. I never really liked the "we're not taking ourselves seriously and yet we are seriously deep" kind of approach... The gameplay (which is everything here, because you just fall of buildings) does not actually feel very pleasant or precise. The game is also ugly, and I am not sure it was not already 10 years ago. Overall, it feels like a trendy concept, an experience with some style put onto it, more than a game, more than anything, and I have no time for this... maybe that game was made with love (it kind of feels like it) but that love is not for me!
