A short minigolf game with beautiful environments. It’s relaxing to explore and has just enough challenge if you’re aiming for great scores. The story elevates it beyond just hitting a ball around, adds a nice emotional layer ;') . It’s not super easy if you care about scores, but there are no penalties, so it stays very chill. Perfect for a calm, low-pressure gaming session. Recommended!!
This is a promising idea: a walking simulator/ storyteller like FireWatch coupled with a challenging mini-golf game. That said, I refunded the game because of two glaring post-launch issues: 1.) The Achievements are badly bugged, and 2) There is no system for saving or tracking your progress. There has also been no post-launch communication from the developer, so I am not going to risk being stuck with an unsupported game with half-implemented features. If the developer fixes his game and supports it, I will consider repurchasing this. Until then, I suggest being cautious. EDIT: The dev apparently does not check the Steam Forums for bug reports. Take that as you will.
The game is super polished and I enjoyed my time with it. I really love the feel and atmosphere of the game, my favorite areas and courses were definitely in the first and last parks! However, some suggestions for the developer would be to please speed up the time for the fade ins/fade outs when you are putting the ball, as they feel to slow (especially if you are repeatedly trying on the harder courses). Other than that, there should be a quick restart button without you having to go out and go back in (if it already exists, I was not aware of it) All in all, super enjoyable experience especially with the narrative that it follows, makes it super engaging while fun with different variety of courses and environments!
The background story is so sweet ;') I’m really enjoying just chilling and playing this game. I love mini golf, and this one is especially fun . Not too hard and definitely a cozy, relaxing golf experience, I recommend it!
so fun! There are a lot of achievements, and the gameplay makes it great for achievement hunting. The physics feel nice, and I just hope Jack got to celebrate his birthday with his dad sometime soon..
Looks good and plays well. A couple of things to note. It is a hard game. Par is going to take a few tries on some of the holes. And I would definitely enjoy a multiplayer VS mode. I would love to compete directly against my friends sitting around taking turns.
You walk through stunningly gorgeous parks playing minigolf while we get some background story by listening to audio clips. Super chill and relaxing game with well made minigolf gameplay. The minigolf is really fun but it doesn't have any hardcore rules. Try to get par or as few shots as possible per hole, but if you're like me and want to land skill shot hole in ones, the game lets you redo a hole if you want a better score. I was able to get hole in one on every hole in the first section but that was extremely difficult.
Fun. Cozy, good story. Some holes are quite hard.
It’s not just minigolf, it feels more like a peaceful walk with a goal. The maps are really beautiful, and I liked just taking my time walking around and enjoying the atmosphere. No timers, no stress, just you and the course. The story actually adds a lot of depth too, which I didn’t expect. It gives meaning to the whole experience and makes it more than just hitting a ball around , Gameplay is simple but still fun, especially when you try to get better shots and master the holes. It’s relaxing but not boring. Perfect game to play when you just want to unwind after a long day. Short, calm, and honestly kind of cozy
I love it! the story is sooooooooo sad though 😭😭
