Short version: Game is about calligraphy and painting in ancient China. The controls are really weird, but the game is really enjoyable once you get used to them. Full version: This is a pretty chill game about going through the process of calligraphy/painting in ancient China. It's relaxing until you start messing up strokes, then your inner perfectionist keeps nagging at you to try harder until eventually you have a beautiful piece of art in front of you. You can apply paintings to nearby hanging scrolls, panels, and vases. Since it also allows you to just upload images from your computer, you can make a ton of ridiculous things and put it in the game, like random memes and such, or even painting a meme, and then using that painting to decorate things around the room (you can upload images to your painting scroll so that you can just trace them with the brush if you want the "brush" effect, or you can just upload the images directly to the decor). The overall experience is really nice, especially if you like the ancient Chinese art. The only downside to this game is that the controls are... bad. Movement is slow, moving your camera (through the use of the arrow keys for some reason) is slow, it is hard to position things like seals due to a lack of position indicator, and for some reason the brush rises and falls based on left and right click. This can make it VERY difficult to make slowly thinning lines. You can hold right or left click, but the speed at which this raises and lowers the brush is fast enough that to make a long thinning/widening line, you must be very fast and accurate with your mouse movement, which can require a lot of practice to get right. The game also features some other trivial things like playing Chinese chess, a playable erhu, and even a bird. Overall, I'd recommend this game to people that enjoy drawing and Chinese culture. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but you can do a LOT with the tools they give you. - If the devs are reading this, please address the awkward controls, perhaps by making the brush rise/fall with the scroll wheel so that the speed can be adjusted. Another suggestion is adding VR support, because this would be an absolutely GODLIKE game in VR, given how it would make full use of the atmosphere while also negating all previously mentioned control difficulties.

My wife is Chinese, and we both have an interest in writing Chinese characters, so seeing this in my queue was a nice surprise. You pretty much see exactly what you get in the preview video, which is the ability to draw Chinese characters with a simulated brush. It's not perfect, or terribly professional, but for such a cheap price ($1.50 I believe at the time of writing) if you find writing these kind of characters enjoyable, why wouldn't you try it?. My only request for improvement is a possible implementation of angling the brush itself as well, based on direction of movement. Furthermore, please make a VR version! I would gladly pay at least $10 for it. Great game(?)!
Probably requires as much skill and patience as real life caligraphy.

Well done! This simulator is very, very difficult. If you have artistic talent, you will be able to express yourself. You can paint and draw in your own style. There are some brilliant works viewable on the community hub. If you want to master Chinese calligraphy, it is a long road. There are commission jobs you can take to build your skills. It is so difficult, I found my attention wandering and wished I could explore a larger environment around the studio. It is very inviting and peaceful. I kept expecting a stern instructor to walk in and chastise me for playing around... I recommend this for the very patient or persistent gamer.
绝对不亏,这个二胡模拟器甚至能用毛笔写字,还可以自定义挂画和花瓶,还能下棋看鸟,就是操作不是很灵活
Weird UI, weird controls, weird, very very weird. Downloaded to get a better understanding of the Corana virus, left more confused now.
