What makes this the best boxing game is that you have to do more than just throw punches. By paying attention to the strengths and weaknesses of your enemies, you can build a deck of cards and use different strategies against each of them. The fighting moves you need to use will be different for each opponent. This boxing game encourages you to think smart and make strategic decisions! And thanks to English voiceovers, each fight will be a more immersive experience!

Very fun game with an interesting story. the combination of deck building with boxing is really fun and the game itself is very enjoyable. Recommended for anyone who enjoys some good narrative with creative gameplay.
Punch to Glory presents an unusual and refreshing take on the boxing genre, shifting the focus away from fast reflexes and real-time combat toward strategy, preparation, and personal progression. Instead of stepping into the ring as a traditional action fighter, you inhabit the role of a young boxer driven by a desire to restore his family’s honor. What unfolds is not merely a sequence of matches, but a slow-building journey shaped by discipline, routine, and deliberate planning. Musa GUNGOR builds the entire experience around the idea that a champion is made long before fight night, and the game continually reinforces that theme through its interconnected systems. The art direction embraces a stylized, cartoon-like aesthetic that complements the game’s emphasis on clarity and readability. Characters, environments, and the interface are all presented with clean lines and bright colors, helping the player quickly understand what is happening without the distraction of hyper-realistic detail. Visual flourishes are minimal, but the design supports the gameplay well, especially during card-based encounters where the focus is on information rather than action. The modest system requirements and lightweight visuals also make the game accessible to players with a broad range of hardware, which suits its indie scale. The heart of Punch to Glory lies in its hybrid gameplay loop, which blends deck-building with life management and training simulation. Every day becomes a set of choices: do you push your character through a grueling workout to raise strength or stamina? Do you rest to recover stress and avoid injury? Do you spend time improving your diet, doing odd jobs, or practicing new techniques? These decisions affect not only your stats but also the available cards you can bring into the ring. Fights themselves unfold as turn-based strategic duels where each card represents an attack, guard, or special boxing maneuver. Because your opponents have patterns, tells, and weaknesses, the excitement comes from anticipating their choices, conserving stamina, and deploying cards at precisely the right moment to break their defenses. This structure turns every match into a tactical puzzle. You must understand your deck and its synergies, plan multi-turn setups, and weigh risk against reward. A single miscalculation—a poorly timed heavy punch or a defensive opening—can dramatically shift momentum, making the matches feel surprisingly tense despite their turn-based pacing. As your career advances, new cards, training methods, and strategic possibilities emerge, giving you a tangible sense of growth and mastery. However, the same ambition that makes the game interesting also creates some of its roughest edges. The daily-life simulation, while thematically appropriate, can become repetitive, particularly when certain chores or training sequences feel more like filler than meaningful progression. At times, the balance between preparation and fighting skews too far toward the grindy side; a small mistake in how you allocate rest or nutrition can make the next match far more difficult than expected, forcing extra cycles of training to recover lost ground. Players looking for a breezier experience may find these systems overly demanding or slow-paced. The card-based combat, too, has its trade-offs. It offers depth and strategic satisfaction, but it sacrifices the visceral thrill that many boxing fans appreciate. You don’t feel the impact of a punch or the rhythm of footwork; instead, the experience becomes abstract and methodical. For some, this shift will be refreshing—a brainy reinterpretation of the sport. For others, it may feel detached, lacking the intensity and immediacy that traditional boxing games deliver. Despite these limitations, Punch to Glory carries a distinctive charm. Its dedication to portraying boxing as a lifestyle rather than a series of violent encounters gives it a personality rarely seen in the genre. The game rewards thoughtful play, patient progression, and an interest in the rituals behind athletic achievement. Its indie spirit shows in both its creativity and its imperfections, but it is precisely that blend that makes the experience memorable rather than generic. In the end, Punch to Glory stands as a thoughtful, strategy-forward boxing RPG that appeals to players who enjoy managing routines, planning tactics, and slowly building a character from the ground up. It may not satisfy those seeking fast-paced action, but for anyone open to a more contemplative, card-driven interpretation of the sport, the game offers a surprisingly deep and rewarding climb toward championship glory.
Steam needs a middle thumb. It's not a bad game, but it's not one I foresee myself coming back to. https://youtu.be/kU8PN94b-hs
