About

Step into the shoes of a psychologist at a small firm, specializing in treating various phobias. Managing your clients is hard enough. Vera Mills won't look at herself in the mirror. Jaden Thompson's social life suffers because of his fear of heights. And Ashley Taylor is obsessed with the thought that she's psychotic like her mother.
But the real ordeal starts when your clients come under attack. You are gradually alienated from your colleagues as the police find only one link: you. Who is attacking your clients one by one, in gruesomely ironic ways? Eventually, it's up to you to solve the chilling mystery and unmask the serial killer.

PSYCHOLOG melds the storytelling of visual novels with the interactive elements of first-person point-and-click games. Engage in thought-provoking dialogue, make critical choices, and get to know your clients and their fears by using your empathy, finesse, and manipulation skills. Keep the trust of friends and colleagues.
Your choice of words during therapy sessions influences the narrative, leading to one of several distinct endings.

The story unfolds in an oppressive urban setting where the sky is rarely visible, and a backrooms aesthetic permeates the bleak interiors.
The relentless onslaught of the game's stylized visuals amplifies the pressure and stress as those you're meant to help succumb to their worst nightmares.

Psycholog is an intense dive into the world of psychology and phobias, enriched with great story telling. It’s creepy, captivating, and super engaging as you try to navigate your clients' darkest fears. Definitely worth checking out if you love a good story and a bit of a thrill!
I overall highly enjoyed experiencing this game! I really like the uncanny and surreal "old horror-movie"-like aesthetic, it truly managed to creep me out at times. Additionally the setting feels quite uncomfortable and ambient, creating a rather oppressive and gloomy atmosphere. The amount of details and realistic complexity of the writing is impressive, especially regarding the patients. I think it's creative how the player is supposed to do several playthroughs in order to understand how to properly approach certain characters. The vast amount of choices makes it entertaining to experiment as well, particularly the funny dialogue options. The plot and mystery are intriguing as well, the constant uncertainty was very thrilling to me. I must admit though that I still find it quite difficult to figure out how to trigger certain events/achievements, since there doesn't seem to be any guide so far. It feels especially tricky, because it appears that the game doesn't allow manual saving as well as the function to fast-skip read text (unless I somehow didn't manage to figure it out lol), hence it gets exhausting to fully replay the game every time I'd like to pick a different choice. Those are rather just inconveniences though and don't have a big impact on the experience as a whole. Altogether I'm still pretty satisfied and like the interesting concept!

Very interesting story that I'm definitely going to play through a few times. About 1.5-2 hours of play time. You are a psychologist whose clients keep being attacked, which naturally brings you under suspicion yourself. There's a very interesting point where you realize that the aim of the game isn't really what you think it is, since treating your clients won't successfully help them survive the game. I honestly would take a full game of just treating clients though, since that mechanic was fun to play too-- figuring out the right approach based on personality and context clues, etc.
If you enjoyed" Silent hill"and" The moment of silence" , psycholog is worth checking in. I'd say this game targets a pretty niched group, and gave me the feeling that those who understand it just do. On the surface this visual novel may seem like your avarage thriller game. When entering though, you step into this stunning fog-like athosphere instantly iron gripping you. The style choice here is simple yet beautiful. The watercolor-ish frames very closely resembling real life enviroments along with the unsettling character personalitites gives the player the perfect eerie feeling. On top of that, the music score really hits, though I'd wish for even more music. The SH vibe with grain/noise may not be for everyone, especially if you don't like pondering by yourself in dark rooms. Personally, I was mostly drawn to the storyline. It seemed like you never really knew what was coming in this game. I loved the main character, whos gender was unknown (!!), and their inner dialouge. The mystification of the city and all the strange events leading up to the ending was truly special. Iv'e played countless of games in this style, and needless to say Psycholog is by far one of my favs. Will definitely revisit.
Fairly short game but with an engaging story. I personally find the "choices matter" aspect nice, it has depth, feels grounded in reality, and makes you ask yourself how you would respond to certain situations or conversations (in the specific context of playing as a psychologist). Characters and story are thoughtfully-made, and overall I enjoyed playing it. Hoping to see more works from the devs in the future, the game is already well-made but their work is promising and I'm sure they could accomplish a lot with more support and resources.
Very interesting and detailed game. I am not a big fan of games like this, but that one got me. Good audio, awesome story. Big +rep for developers
Digamos que yo he suspendido.
