Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

So they updated it in 2025. Is it finally fixed? Nope. Every time I launch it it starts in a super low resolution, and I can't set it any higher than 1280×800. How can't they fix something communityfix did years ago
09年的游戏,放到现在依然耐打
went into this game spoiler free for the 1st time in the big 26 and was not dissapointed,,the insomniac spider man games bit their whole flow off this game and for the time it was made it is an extremely fun play,,the story was a little confusing in the 1st half but once you put the pieces together its pretty good, this game is definitely worth the money and alex mercer is a evill aura farmer

I keep seeing that all of the negative reviews of this game are about it crashing. I have had no such problems, so they must have patched in the meanwhile. That being said... JUST PLAY PROTOTYPE 2 I find it baffling that people call this their favourite game of all time, or even a 10/10, but I will give the benefit of the doubt and say that those are the Xbox players that played it way back in 2009. It is the epitome of every single bad game design decision from the 2000s. The power fantasy that everyone seems to praise this game for is, in my opinion, non-existent. Half of this game has you infiltrating the same 2 military bases over and over while cloaked, so you don't get to use your mutant powers, and the other half has you fighting hunters, which are the most God awful enemy design I've ever seen in a video game. Their one and only attack is "stunlock combo of 5-to-10 hits that will 100% kill you in the early game and will leave you with a sliver of health in the late game". Where exactly am I supposed to use my powers? On the random civilians and military personnel, that will invariably manage to call a strike team on me and spawn 3 helicopters in that will be a pain to kill? Or against the hunters that will always stunlock me, but will rarely be stunned by my attacks which exist explicitly to stun enemies? The story is barely there and what is there is so edgy you can probably slice hunters with it, but you should be able to mostly overlook that, since you probably didn't hear about this game because of its stellar character writing and narrative. Finally, the most egregious piece of 2000s design are the collectibles. 200 unmarked blue orbs scattered across New York which do absolutely nothing aside from giving you XP (not even an achievement like they did on Xbox), and another 50 "hint" purple orbs, which just give you useless tutorials. There is also this "web of Intrigue" which I think was supposed to piece together some story about the virus, but the way you fill this web is by consuming 130 randomly spawning NPCs, each NPC giving you a 2 minute snippet of the saturated with military-buzzwords and generic "tough guy" quotes. There are way more things I can warn you about that will make you pull your hair out while playing, but this word salad is already long enough. With all those being said, I still see the foundation of a good game here and it is still above average, even if barely, with what I call a generous 6/10.
