Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The concept, story and gameplay are great. I'd give that game, despite it's age, a solid 8/10 rating. BUT - and there comes the problem - it's highly unstable on modern PCs. First of all it crashed every time i tried to make a new game and load it. I fixed this with a community fix. Then, around hour 5 of gameplay, it started freezing and crashing regularly during one specific mission. I couldn't progress anymore, so i've asked for a refund. The refund was denied due to my almost 6 hours of gameplay. I've probably only seen half of the game. Rest is unplayable for me. Steam doesn't really seem to care if frequent crashes occur later in the game. Btw... according to Windows, it seems to be a memory corruption issue (MSVCR80.dll from the C++ runtime library). The game damages its own written data in its predetermined space. (Error code: 0xc0000409.)
JUEGAZO, no tuve ningún problema con el rendimiento, historia, jugabilidad 10/10

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the few games I'd actually give a 5/10. I want to like Prototype. I want to like its gorgeous, fluid combat that rewards a varied playstyle. I want to enjoy its take on stealth in an open world. I want to enjoy the story and concept, which are fundamentally really good ideas (an anti-hero game that plays like a messed-up Spider-Man). All of these are overshadowed by one thing: The design philosophy of the game as it goes on as regards enemies and difficulty. What I would term "good" difficulty makes you feel like you're learning, adapting and shifting your strategies. Take Bayonetta for instance, brutally difficult but in a way that lets you learn and improve over time.. Prototype's difficulty is an example of what I call "bad" difficulty. The enemies in this game have two types: Cannon fodder that add up to be annoying, and massive great brutes who seem calculated to frustrate. Even with max health upgrades, I routinely found myself being pulped into the ground by enemies that chop about a sixth of your health off with every attack, which you can barely do any damage to even with your superpowers, and which can also very easily stunlock you, especially if there is more than one in the area (which happens a LOT). No enemy in any game should be able to totally stunlock the player. The missions are all basically the same thing as well - run to a location, beat some guys up, go somewhere else, rinse and repeat, and this mission loop makes the game feel far too long and the story feel like it takes ages to get anywhere. It's such a waste of a cool story concept and such fluid and nice mechanics (save for the confusing lock-on mechanics whereby your player character doesn't actually seem to want to go the way you want him to), bogging it down with absurd difficulty that's more about finding ways to cheese the enemies than actually learning anything. Again. I wanted to enjoy this game. I expected a diamond in the rough, a 7/10 from the mid-10s that might surprise me. What I got was, frankly, a slog. I'll keep playing for the story 'cause while it drags and takes ages to get anywhere, what's good about it it pretty good I would watch a movie based on this game's story. Maybe it's just not gelling with me as much as I might want it to, but my ultimate take is this: Don't play this game if you can't stomach the unfair difficulty. Watch a playthrough online instead.

Чётко, жду в продаже вторую часть.
très bon jeu, très violent, avec une histoire poignante et un brin complotiste, une liberté de mouvement énorme.
