THE. GAME. IS. NOT. DEAD. For those of you who wanted to buy this game please ignore the review that says "The game is dead". This game only had 1 dev working on it. So it is understandable that it took him this long to give an update on the current progress, but he is working tirelessly to make this game come to fruition.
I didn't played even a minute, bought it to try with a Steam Deck (it looks like a blast for playing on a handheld). But it's not supported even with the custom controls layout, I've tried everything. Unfortunately :( TO DEVS: PLEASE, ADD A STEAM DECK SUPPORT!
good game slow updates
I can't recommend it. The windowed default is bugged and clicks out of the application, while regular windowed mode doesn’t use 100% of the screen. In zombie modes, the objectives you need to defend aren't marked at the start, leading to the first wave killing all targets before you can find them. Most missions are excessively restrictive and fail immediately if you kill even one non-combatant. If you just want to have a good time in an AC130, this game is not for you.
this game suck balls. it wont move the camera
I mean... it's pretty realistic? Pretty buggy though, even in the tutorials, which I understand since it's only 1 guy's side project. Unfortunately, realistic does not always equate to fun. Maps are small, weapon splash damage seems inconsistent, and having to constantly try to trim the alignment on your weapons based on your angle and aiming also isn't very fun. Needs something more like an Arcade mode where the ballistics are already calculated by a computer to land accurately at the target point. Probably wouldn't buy again unless I was really looking for a realistic, in depth simulator.
horrible. terrible. not even worth capital letters. sucks so bad. can't get kbm configured, can't get gamepad configured. you fly into a block of terrain, surrounded by blackscreen. can't even load a whole map at startup. just terrible. horrible.
The game feels authentic, it's very engaging and fun. Then you accidentally hit a civilian with a 105mm high explosive round, you feel guilty, you start drinking, and you develop PTSD.
Honestly not worth $15.
Finish this already! Never saw such foot-dragging. A great concept, but obviously this guy was the wrong choice to continue.
