About
Project: AFTERSHOCK is a narrative-driven Arcade Hacking Roguelite set in a dystopian future.
You are Dr. Rudolf Reinhardt Richter, who was once known as "The Architect". You built the nation's neural grid. The Regime branded you a traitor and buried you in a cell to silence you. But last night's suspicious "earthquake" shattered the prison walls.
Now, you are operating from a forgotten bunker you built 20 years ago. In front of you is a legacy terminal. The Regime is hunting for digital footprints, but they are blind to your analog signals.
They think the quake is over... But the real shockwave is coming.
Reflexes are your only weapon. You have 3 seconds to breach the Regime's firewalls.
BE FAST: Identify the correct data nodes, decrypt the files, and siphon the funds.
BE CAREFUL: Avoid traps and aggressive AI countermeasures like AEGIS.
EVOLVE: The basic law of nature: If you want to survive, you must evolve. Use the funds stolen from the Regime to upgrade your legacy hardware in the Black Market.
Retro-Industrial Atmosphere: No fancy 3D models. Just you, the hum of a CRT monitor, glitchy analog sounds, and the raw tension of green code on a black screen.
Roguelite Progression: Did you get caught? No problem. Keep your hardware upgrades and come back stronger.
Narrative Unfolding: You are hacking with a goal: Learn the truth, dissolve the system. Decrypt logs from The Regime to uncover the conspiracy and bring down The Regime
Advanced Defense Systems: No two hacks are the same. The Regime’s firewall adapts, creating infinite puzzle variations to test your skills.
YOUR MISSION: Drain their accounts, activate the "Project: Aftershock" protocol, and clear your name.

a cool little hacking game. even though you can still see many points to polish, it's an early access game and I have to say the developer seems much more sincere than most "early access" games out there. You can directly contact him and tell your criticisms which is cool, I've played the demo as well and you can see he adds things little by little with frequent updates. at this current state, it's still a fun game if you want to just wind off or let some time pass for 7-8 minutes. With more dynamics and perhaps the branching story promised in the early access q&a, this game could become a thrilling 2-3 hour journey. if you like the hacking theme, give it a go. TL&DR: hacking game still developing with an attending dev, pretty cool and worth the almost free price so far.
I bought it as a low-priced, casual game, but I didn't expect such a great experience. The game gets harder after a while, but it's unexpectedly addictive. As you breeze through the levels, time just flies by; you don't even notice it. I’m eagerly looking forward to the full version!
I've playing that game since the demo, and the progress is honestly incredible. It's not just about random clicking anymore the tactics I mean the tactical depth and way you have to follow instructions to progress make it so much more engaging. I love that! The dystopian atmosphere is spot on which you can read on the description part and also the tension of having limited time to breach firewalls keeps you on edge. Additionally, what really gets me is the story hacking is not just for the sake of it, but to uncover the truth and take down the regime. Amazing and brilliant work!
Curto mas divertido, é pra quem gosta de pensar rápido. E acho muito bom que tenha tudo em português (não apenas, mas VÁRIOS idiomas), realmente se esforçou pra trazer algo bom. Obrigado pelo jogo, Tuna!
Its fun. Testing your attention and speed. It needs a proper fullscreen mode (as of now is a windowed mode). Maybe more modes to spice it up, but overall is a fun little game.
This game ruined my life! I’ve been addicted to Project: Aftershock after just a few days. I can’t stop playing, so I stopped going to work and ended up losing my job. My wife and kids left me. Now I’m unemployed and alone… but who cares? I ve got Project: Aftershock!
I really loved the CRT/tube TV aesthetic. I gave it a shot because I enjoy atmospheric games, and I can say it definitely met my expectations for an Early Access title. It has the potential to become even more enjoyable as it continues to develop.
