More of a download simulator than a pinball simulator. After installing the game on Steam the game needed to download extra files FOR EVERY CAMERA VIEW of the pinball table. Sounds ridiculous but tolerable, right? The issue is that the files are downloaded from some unspecified server outside of Steam... And the downloads are INSANELY SLOW, taking up to couple hours. I literally spent more time in this game downloading additional files than playing pinball. And what will happen when the developers close the servers for these files? I am not optimistic because the game has not been updated since 2016. The upside is that the game is actually good and fun, very playable and in line with the other Pro Pinball games from the 90s (only available in a competing digital store). So if you like pinball very much and don't mind running those extra downloads in the background, why not? Pro Pinball always worked better for me than Pinball FX: the tables are easier to understand, the design less flashy and more readable. But yeah, buy it at your own peril.

Recensione a caldo di un novizio dopo 1h di gioco. Ho conosciuto il gioco dopo una scrupolosa ricerca online per il Pinball digitale perfetto. Questo tavolo é molto interessante per diversi motivi: -fisica di simulazione molto veritiera se non quasi identica alla realtá; -grafica eccezionale e con la possibilitá di impostare elevate risoluzioni; -struttura "narrativa" ed esperienza di gioco ben fatta e molto divertente; -nonostante sia un singolo tavolo il presso non é esagerato. É una valida alternativa per i nuovi giocatori che si approcciano al mondo del Pinball e che non vogliono regalare i propri soldi ad alternative free to play ma con centinaia di DLC oppure se non si é in grado di gestire VisualPinball e tutto il suo mondo. L'ideale sarebbe essere in grado di configurare correttamente l'alternativa piú tecnica scritta sopra, in quanto 100% gratuita e personalizzabile fino allo sfinimento, ma capisco che é un procedimento complicato e molto laborioso, da eseguire solo se molto esperti e grandi appassionati. Ma omaggiare anche i bravi sviluppatori come "Barnstorm Games" comprando e giocando al loro gioco, soprattutto se fatto bene e ad un prezzo onesto, non é mica male!

Table is seriously out of this world, so is the pre-rendered graphics making this one of the best looking pinball games i've ever played. This development team needs to make more, please.

This is a seriously impressive pinball simulation. It's hard to believe this 10 year old game looks and plays as nicely as it does, and offers a cabinet mode (tip: add "m2" to the game's launch option to allow the backglass/dmd on a second monitor) that is arguably as good than the leading pinball game on the market. The materials and lighting modeling on the table is excellent. Unfortunately the game is largely abandoned, and no new tables will likely come to it. I am happy just to have the single Timeshock table, with the care and attention that's been poured into it. Note that your selected view mode(s) and graphics settings require a sizeable download from the developer's server in order to play. This could be a potential issue for the game being supported inthe future.
