Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek

Si Hello Neighbor era el juego del gato y el ratón contra un vecino que aprendía de vos, Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek es la otra cara de la moneda: la precuela que te cuenta por qué ese tipo terminó siendo el paranoico que llena su casa de trampas. Sigue la trágica historia de la familia del Vecino, dejándote jugar a las escondidas con tu hermano mientras los dos procesan la pérdida de un familiar, y de paso va armando el rompecabezas de los eventos que llevan al Hello Neighbor original. La primera diferencia que se siente en el cuerpo: acá no hay un adulto amenazante persiguiéndote por el barrio. El "antagonista" es tu propio hermano, y el motor no es el terror puro sino algo más melancólico —la casa se transforma en un espacio de duelo infantil, con la lógica de un juego (las escondidas) usada como excusa narrativa para procesar algo que los menores no pueden nombrar del todo. Es un despelote emocional bastante más sutil que "hay un loco en el sótano". En términos de jugabilidad, es más liviano y episódico que el original: menos sigilo calculado contra una IA que te memoriza los movimientos, más exploración pausada y momentos de puzzle ambiental. Perdés algo de esa tensión de supervivencia que hacía grande al primer juego, pero ganás en atmósfera y en que la historia realmente te importa un poco más. ¿La posta? No es un juego que se sostenga solo —funciona mejor si ya jugaste el original y tenés ganas de entender el trasfondo—, pero como pieza de [i]lore[/i] cumple. Es más un capítulo emotivo que un juego de terror en sí, y ahí está tanto su gracia como su límite.
