(Please note that the only reason I have so many hours on this game is because when you're a kid, you just play the games and don't care how bad it they are). If you want an open world game with driving and third-person shooting, look no further! Like literally, look no further, because this game ruins all three of those aspects. It's a dead open world-- which is on point for a game set in the desert but that's obviously not what YOU want-- and the driving is literally just to take you from point A to point B. The shooting is bare-bones, so much so that I did most of the killing with the baseball bat, which satisfyingly sends zombies flying if you charge up the swing. And the story... my GOD, the story. I know what it's trying to be, but the humor is like a welcome-mat that 20 fat people with muddy boots walked all over. The story ITSELF became the joke. Only a few times did I actually laugh: 1. There's a part where Pepe is showing you the map, and I noticed the map was upside down, and then he goes, "OH, whoops, it's upside down." 2. Then there's a part where three idiot strangers mark different directions on your map, which literally leads you to a dead-end. 3. The "main bad guy" breaks character while discussing his evil plan and ends his rant in a completely different voice when he says "Basically." To summarize: Johnny, your protagonist, has with sudden memory loss who is literally the only person willing to put a stop to the green fog that's causing zombies to rise from the grave. However, the reason he's got memory loss is because he was in a plane crash, which you figure out almost immediately, halfway in. The voice acting is atrocious, by the way, especially for the southern characters, which is most of them. Johnny did a passable job, though, but his delivery can be equally as off, sometimes. I will say: the soundtrack is actually good, despite it never setting the tone for specific moments. I'm a big fan of rock and roll and given the atmosphere here, which is like goofy sci-fi (because it definitely isn't horror, not by a long shot), but it's also like a wild west rock sort of deal? I dunno how to word it. But yeah, this game is one of many that's like The Room of video games, but isn't necessarily all that *fun* like something so bad it's good, like Postal 2. If you REALLY wanna see how bad it is, go ahead... when it's on sale, at least. Centauri doesn't deserve that $10 price tag after all these years.
Fair warning that you may or may not be able to enjoy the game using modern hardware. On Windows 11, AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT the game will often crash during loading or start hanging up on rendering then crash.
在 PC游戏管家 平台买的随机激活码,记住这个狗平台,买了3个全是没汉化的垃圾+脑残游戏,免费送给我都不会去玩,真是恶心到我了
It hurts my soul. It's basically Fallout 4.

Pound of Ground, developed by Centauri Production and published by Bohemia Interactive, is a third-person zombie shooter that embraces chaotic action and self-aware humor over realism or narrative sophistication. Released during a period when zombie-themed games were saturating the market, it distinguishes itself not by innovation but by leaning fully into exaggerated violence, campy storytelling, and arcade-style mayhem. Rather than presenting a gritty survival horror experience, it delivers a loud, fast-paced slaughterfest where mowing down hordes of undead is the central attraction. The game follows John Major, a reluctant anti-hero thrown into a bizarre outbreak scenario that quickly spirals into absurd territory. The story unfolds through brief cutscenes and dialogue exchanges that mix parody with crude humor. While the plot itself is thin and often intentionally ridiculous, it serves as a framework for continuous combat scenarios rather than a deep narrative journey. The tone is unapologetically over-the-top, with exaggerated characters and situations reinforcing the game’s arcade identity rather than aiming for emotional weight. Gameplay centers around third-person shooting mechanics, with players navigating semi-open environments filled with relentless waves of zombies. Combat is straightforward: aim, shoot, reload, and survive. A variety of weapons become available as the game progresses, ranging from standard firearms to heavier, more destructive armaments. Each weapon offers a slightly different rhythm and impact, though the overall combat loop remains consistent. Boss encounters punctuate the action, introducing larger enemies that demand sustained firepower and quick movement to overcome. One of the more distinctive elements is the inclusion of a drivable vehicle, which allows players to plow through hordes at high speed. This mechanic adds a layer of chaotic fun, breaking up on-foot shooting sequences and emphasizing the arcade-like design philosophy. The ability to shift between vehicular carnage and standard gunplay keeps the pacing energetic, even if the missions themselves follow a predictable pattern of clearing areas and surviving ambushes. Visually, Pound of Ground reflects its era. Character models, environmental textures, and animations are functional but clearly dated by modern standards. The aesthetic does not aim for realism; instead, it supports the exaggerated tone with bold effects and clear enemy silhouettes that keep gameplay readable even during intense firefights. While the presentation lacks polish compared to contemporary shooters, it remains serviceable for delivering its core experience of large-scale zombie extermination. Mechanically, the game favors simplicity over complexity. Enemy behavior is relatively basic, with zombies typically advancing in large groups rather than employing advanced tactics. This design choice reinforces the arcade feel, focusing on crowd control and sustained firepower rather than strategic combat. However, repetition can set in over time, as mission objectives and enemy types do not evolve dramatically throughout the campaign. The game thrives in short bursts but may feel repetitive during longer sessions. Community reception has historically been mixed, reflecting the game’s divisive nature. Some players appreciate its unapologetic, campy charm and straightforward action. Others criticize it for its dated mechanics, repetitive structure, and lack of depth. Ultimately, enjoyment largely depends on expectations. Those seeking a polished, story-rich survival horror experience may be disappointed, while players looking for chaotic, no-frills zombie blasting may find it entertaining in moderation. Overall, Pound of Ground is a product of its time—a budget zombie shooter that prioritizes action and humor over refinement and innovation. It does not aim to compete with high-budget titles in the genre, but instead offers a compact, arcade-style experience focused on spectacle and destruction. Its strengths lie in its energetic pacing and willingness to embrace absurdity, while its weaknesses stem from repetition and dated design. For players in the mood for uncomplicated undead carnage without heavy narrative or mechanical depth, it delivers exactly that. Rating: 5/10
