About

A roguelike deckbuilder where you fight with your fingers, spill some blood, and try to make it to your niece’s birthday on time.
You’re a wizard. A not-so-heroic wizard imprisoned for wizard crime, awoken from your wizard slumber by an invitation from your niece. Escape from jail and traverse a hostile world crawling with danger. Every turn is a frenzy of spell sigils, cracking bones, and desperate gestures as you shred through monstrosities with raw elemental power.
You’re not the chosen one, you’re just trying to be a good uncle.

💀 Master Tactical Spellcraft
This isn’t your usual “play the biggest card” deckbuilder.
Every spell is built from elemental patterns cast directly with your fingers. Recipes can overlap and combine, sparking strategies that reward clever play and experimentation.
You’ll discover emergent synergies not just in what you play, but how you cast it — turning each turn into a high-stakes puzzle full of risk, reward, and happy little accidents.
🩸 Gory, never Grim
Explore a hand-drawn dark fantasy world of cursed ruins and haunted forests
Face grotesque and absurd monsters, oozing with menace and dread
Splatter enemies into charred puddles while outrunning your jailors
You’re not saving the world. You’re just trying to get to a birthday party in one piece — and maybe pick up a card on the way
🧠 Designed for “A-ha!” Moments
8+ playable characters, each bending the spellcasting system in unique ways
One-hour runs - perfect for single-session wins
What begins as simple patterns quickly grows into a web of interactions — rewarding experimentation and cleverness over rote memorization.

A very, VERY creative and mechanically intricate deck builder game. It's unique artwork is also a breath of fresh air into this genre.
really good. I am IN LOVE with the art style and sound design. Notably, however, games with this kind of artstyle often are lacking in the gameplay department (which is fine and makes sense, they are usually more-so artistic projects, and are still an enjoyable experience). Which is why I cannot recommend Pluto enough, because the gameplay is also amazing and addicting. Think slay the spire meets darkest dungeon 2, with a unique combat system I have never seen before. A combat system that fully succeeds in both being fun, being surprisingly deep, and most of all working with the overall atmosphere of the game. There are only 3 things I wish were different: 1. first and foremost, I REALLY wish there was a compendium similar to slay the spire. There is a knowitorium that shows a gallery of the gifts, but its lacking any real stats. I always enjoy looking at my winstreak, total wins, etc. In slay the spire on the compendium, and between that + the heart damage carrying between runs, it adds a surprising amount of replay value to me. I feel like this wouldn't be hard to implement, either. Just something to show the "work" ive put into, if I play the game for 100 hours and win abunch, for example. 2. Runs aren't long enough, in my opinion. IIRC there are 2 bosses per run, the mini-boss and the final boss (who is always the same by the way, but its a new game and the final boss is well-designed so I'll let it slide). But when I reach the final boss, progression-wise it feels like a pretty abrupt ending because I hadn't had a ton of time to have fun with my now designed build for that run. And it just feels kind of strange that you only get 1 gift per run, it heavily encourages you to slot into a single archetype. Making a run longer, thereby forcing a player to do a dual-archetype for any given character would make runs more varied, probably 3. there are some balancing-kinks, although its a new game so I'm not worried. But some things are just clearly overpowered, and some things are terrible (maybe a skill-issue, but for example on the apprentice, the spell that gives you feeble, or really any spell that gives you feeble is literally never worth playing, and it sticks out pretty badly because afaik there is no way to remove a spell from your deck, and hand size is a pretty important aspect of the game and that character). I think its moreso that there are a decent chunk of terrible spells rather than op spells, which can do a good job of building the atmosphere of a darkest-dungeon-esque (I am constantly in fear) thing, but when it goes too far (feeble spells on apprentice where I am playing them maybe once every 5 fights cos i have nothing better to do) it feels silly Overall amazing game, I'll continue to keep playing, really hope some cool mods come out and/or it keeps getting updated.
Fantastic game with great art. Started out as a great experience and got a lot more support and updates. One of the best wizard games out there.
Weird and esoteric roguelike deckbuilder. Really fun, really unique. I just want more of it.
Very ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. Make lots of wizard money doing wizard things. Cast spells with middle fingers up. Trip out. Playing this game may keep cause one to keep one's partner up do to do immense excitement generated by the aforementioned cool wizard ♥♥♥♥. Buy this game. Cast spells.
Hands down the best roguelike deckbuilder I've played so far. And I've played a lot of them. Get this on a sale, you won't regret it. I don't recommend watching any kind of guide or tutorial before playing this.
Great game. 200/100
