About

You arrived in Modern-City, the safest city on the Continent.
The Government of the Sovereign in the Nexus Tower and its' equipment provide protection against any release of dark energy of Re.Surs, therefore, to avoid an emergency, each newcomer must be screened for residual dark energy radiation.
Please enjoy your stay, but to make your evacuation process more comfortable follow the Instructions of the Administration and Soldiers of Sovereign.
Please follow these instructions and have a very safe day!
immersion into a surreal and atmospheric reality
experience inspired by retro survival horror titles: fixed (aka cinematic) camera angles, tank controls (modern-one will be available too)
various puzzles, cryptic and not-so-cryptic events
simulating early 2000s graphics (like cross-gen PS1/PS2 looks), but also using modern post-processing to boost the retro look with fancy effects

The style was amazing, i really dig the vibe. Definitely felt a ton of dread while playing this game. My only compaint is dealing with the shadow guys in the fields was kind of tedious, but otherwise i had a good time.
https://youtu.be/oc1_ON00eY0 Horror is heavily dependent on pacing and spacing to maintain tension, the overside levels have too much downtime to keep the momentum moving.
It is exciting and thrilling when i am confronted with monsters with limited bullets, and the second-person viewpoint has also added difficulties to every battle. It's kinda like the silent hill and i enjoy the creepy atmosphere in the game.
Plastomorphosis is a pretty impressive indie game, especially when it’s mostly made by one developer. It’s a survival horror game in the veins of old school Resident Evil or Silent Hill. It does all the things you expect from the genre but it has a few minor twists. The visuals are stylish as hell (reduce the noise and pixelation in the settings menu though), the story is going places with its ambition (you won’t get all the answers in one game) and the setting is a bit unusual. The levels are varied, the graphics are appealing, the gameplay is comforting & engaging, most bosses were fun & creative, using the flare gun was awesome and OP near the end, the notes were good, you can save without needing an item, the little voice acting I heard was suitable and welcome, the achievements were fun and I was just very interested to see how all of this would end. I’m not sure I got everything (things got a bit weird near the end) but I am interested to see more of this universe. On the other hand, I wasn’t a fan of some puzzles involving numbers. Some were great but others went way too far. I didn’t get the numbers for the shotgun and I didn’t enjoy the hotel section much. Almost the entirety of that section was silly puzzles and it was too much (the one with the cards and the one with a poem for the door especially), it’s like I was playing an escape room game all of a sudden. Luckily, the dev released a really cool guide for the game that you can find on Steam. It’s neatly organised as a PDF file. But yeah, a bit less complicated puzzles the next time please. And lastly, the first boss was the only bad one. It moved way too fast, you had little room to hit it and get out of harms way. The other bosses were more balanced and interesting. Despite all that, I really enjoyed the game. I bought this with 9 other games in a bundle and this is so far my favourite out of the 6 I tried. €7 is fine for what you’re getting, I 100% the game in less than 7 hours but I did use the dev’s guide whenever I got stuck. This game might not be perfect in every way but it satisfied me as a Resident Evil fan. I really hope the dev makes more games in this genre since he/she is very good at it. I’m also interested in the universe, I started playing dev’s first game, Re.Surs since it was on sale by the time I finished Plastomorphosis. I like how most of his games share the same universe but playing them in a different order doesn’t seem to matter and the genres of his games can be very different too. It’s going to be interesting following this dev’s journey.
gioco che ricorda molto la serie Resident Evil e Silent Hill. consigliato
entretenido y bueno para lo que cuesta
this was so frustrating to play. every hallway is super long, they make you fight like 2 bosses in a row with not enough ammo, every 1st shot when aiming misses, wack ass puzzles, every character in the game runs like they gotta take a ♥♥♥♥, plot feels like some ai garbage
