Tags: 6DOF - Flight & Space Pilot Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Visually busy. Hard to gauge the ship's distance from objects, controls a bit sluggish. Scan plantets and send shuttles is slow clicker oriented and unengaging. The mouse sensitivity felt a bit off overall. The menus felt amateurish and the engine itself reminded me of Unity. Altogether, the game did not have the expected clean finish that I was expecting from the minimalism, instead, having overlays and tooltips in enormous sizes just floating about next to all the planets. The grinding aspect of the elements might have had a redeeming value in there, but unfortunately the gameplay loop is just too bland and the overall experience is just not very substantive. With no real story to speak of, plot hooks, or any reason to your actions that I could identify. There are better alternatives in the freelancer style games. I would look there and overlook this unless you specifically seek it out to try it out through VR, which I would not even know if that would be recommendable.

I would not say that its bad but i do say that its not worth the full prize... i dont know... it feels like a fun little game but fun little games doesnt cost this much But i must admit its a very good game... so... thumbs up

Planetship — невелика, проста, але доволі приємна гра. Вона не намагається вразити масштабом чи зробити щось суперепічне. Тут більше відчуття легкої інді-гри, яку запускаєш без великих очікувань, а потім просто спокійно проходиш і ловиш свій маленький вайб. Мені сподобалось, що гра не душить зайвими системами. Усе досить зрозуміло, без перевантаження, тому її нормально запускати, коли хочеться просто трохи відволіктись і провести час у чомусь незвичному. Не сказав би, що це гра для всіх, але якщо подобаються короткі інді-проєкти зі своїм настроєм — Planetship можна спробувати.

The devs use that low-budget display & options prompt every time the game launches. You cannot see or interact with this prompt while wearing a VR headset, so you have to take the headset off, which interrupts the VR experience and inevitably screws up the positioning. No amount of resetting the view afterwards will fix the positioning. You'd think they would have maybe tried to play their own game before selling it. I guess not. Maybe it runs great? Who knows.
