About
Planetbase is a strategy game where you guide a group of space settlers trying to establish an outpost on a remote planet.
In the game you play the role of the base architect and manager, telling your colonists where to build the structures they will need to survive. You will have to ensure that they have a constant supply of oxygen, food and water to stay alive.
You will get them to collect energy, extract water, mine metal, grow food, manufacture bots, and build a fully self-sufficient base in a harsh environment, where you are always one step away from total failure.
Even if the game is not intended to be a simulator, all the mechanics are plausible, and based on what the expected challenges of establishing a colony in an new planet would be.
Four different planets with different conditions and increasing difficulty.
Harness solar and wind energy (if available) in order to power the base's structures.
Grow hydroponic Vegetables and synthesize Vitromeat to feed your population.
Mine and produce raw resources, process them, manufacture goods, and establish a production chain.
Carefully manage the colonist immigration flow to ensure you have the people with the right skills.
Survive disasters like meteors, sandstorms or solar flares and defend your base from intruders.
Mechanize your base by creating your own bots that will help with the more arduous tasks.
Grow your colony from a few initial pioneers to a vibrant planetbase with hundreds of colonists.

Fun little colony builder. Also, it's dirt cheap, so great value. I think I sank like 130 hours into it, so I definitely got my money's worth. It's been a while since I played, but I'm pretty sure I did all the planets and got most of the achievements. Looking forward to Planetbase 2. Gameplay is a little simplistic, but I like that. It forces you to do higher-level planning instead of digging through and micromanaging a zillion different parts. Eventually you finish all the planets and then there's not much else to do, but it was fun until then. The game is streamlined, low footprint, and not buggy. It's great for a few dozen hours of fun, and for the price, it's a great value.
A lot of fun, makes me think but also relaxing.

You can just say you are bad, No need to downvote the game. it is not easy. not for everyone, but it has extreme replayability. But if you suck then its prob no fun, go play roblox or minecraft
Игра неплохая, раньше 1-2 года играл в пиратку, Сейчас спустя примерно 5-6 лет купил лицензию в Steam. Да есть недочеты и недоработки, каждая твоя вроде бы небольшая ошибка - оказывается катастрофой через некоторое время. Играйте, если нужен русфикатор ищите, спольерить сайт без вирусов не буду.
no ability to control anything in the game. the workers are beyond stupid and usually do the the least important task first. camera controls are dog water and there are like 5 options total in the settings screen. don't waste your money on this game. buy Stranded: Alien Dawn instead. vastly superior game.
super poor resource management and AI pathing. game swings rapidly between everything smooth and everything fail. UI is missing a lot of trackers and indicators that are the most important to have.
