its fun game but nose in weapons SUCK SO MUCH ♥♥♥♥ why give ships them as starting weapons? they do next to no damage and you get torn to pieces trying to use them
It's a pretty solid game, it has some strategy and some depths to weapons but mostly it's based on luck if you will get a good run or not (which most rougelites are). But here you are punished severely after a couple of planets. Things that doesn't make any sense: - Weapons are ... weird. As someone mentioned already, lets say you have a stick that does 10 dps, but you get a legendary rifle with 90 dps, but for SOME reason performs worse?! Huh? -Planet levels. You start at level 15 and five planets later some levels are 120, you can beat them if you got lucky but later you turn into atoms by the very same level. Performance wise it's good until later stages where everything turns into a powerpoint presentation on how you die or the planet dies. I have overclocked my GPU and CPU yet I still get thrown down to 5-10 fps when everythings flying. Sadly kills you more than you want. On that note. The real killer for me, and for me it's pretty important. I do wish you we can get a kill log or damage log. You sometimes instantly die from, well I can't tell you. All I know is that you go *poof* and you're there wondering, nothing hit me?! For me it's like saying you're doing it wrong without telling me WHAT I am doing wrong. All in all, it's a fun game that reminds you of those simple flashgames. I do recommend it but on a very BARELY note. It has some issues that needs to be resolved.
Really great game! I was surprised at the number of ships. Its not the most complex Roguelite/like out there but sometimes simplicity is king and this nails it. Progression is satisfying and the difficulty is, imo, hard but fair. The ships look really, really cool too. Best $12 ive ever spent, its worth every penny. I hope the dev keeps adding onto it!
Dev has addressed initial concerns, so changing to a positive review. Frame rate issues have been resolved, and a small progression incentive added which will help with ever-increasing rewards to unlock all the cool ships. Hoping for more great updates going forward as this game is pretty enjoyable as its core!
Fun game
expected a simple 10 minute game, became addicted for hours, great job dev.
This is fun right away. Only an hour in but worth whatever I paid. Might end up being short but it's quite replayable, in the vein of FTL or similar. It's a banger; check it out
