Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.63/day in the week to Jul 21 → 1.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A fun space action roguelike. I kind of gave up on it after full release because performance issues turned it into a slide show. The performance updates in May 2026 are remarkable. It went from smoking my kinda old gaming laptop to barely turning on the fan. I'm looking forward to getting back into it.
Only got this game because another game was cheaper when bundled with this than not during the sale. Despite that, I instantly fell in love with this and would've probably bought it on its own if I'd known about it before.

The game is smooth on the eyes and the gameplay scratches an itch I didnt know existed. Build variety is great, its easy to run and immaculate to play with controller. This game doesnt ask much of you its priced fairly and does not require you to sink 100's of hours to max out your stats. Its a dopaine drip feed. Would highly reccommend, great game.
I never thought I'd spend this much time playing Galactic Glitch ! It's one of those games you get in a bundle, and after a quick look-see... Oh, this looks like a cool twin-stick shooter with flashy colors, so the mechanics can't be that hard to grasp ! And it takes but a few seconds to install... Why not give it a shot, it could be fun for 20 minutes ? Maybe even an hour ! Or 40... Because Galactic Glitch is fun from the get-go ! Pick a spaceship among the ones you have unlocked (up to 9 different ships at the end, each with their own stats and special abilities), a weapon, and embark on an adventure where solar systems serve as the floors of a roguelike, getting harder the further you travel. Each sector has its own ambiance and enemies, a shop, challenge and secret rooms... All the classic roguelike elements are here, for a game that looks pretty and feels good to play from the very first runs. Beyond the classic twin-stich shooting, you can also play around with the game's main gimmick : throwing space rocks. But not only rocks ! Floating debris, crates or even stunned enemies make for perfectly adequate projectiles ! And since the arenas are all circle-shaped, with edges that push you back in with greater force, you can use this to your advantage and angle your throws so that they bounce back into enemies. It's fun, easy to pull off, and greatly encouraged because it does a lot of damage. It can even be a viable playstyle ! Galactic Glitch becomes even more fun as you get better. Not only do you go further, while exploring branching paths and fighting new bosses, but you also have more time to experiment. Playing with different ships, trying out the 20+ unlockables weapons, discovering new builds and powers and upgrading them... It takes a long time to see it all, and the constant discovery is always exciting ! You may not be victorious on the first few runs, but the game is not very difficult. That's why the option to turn off some roguelite elements (more health and damage for all ships, extra items in the shops...) is welcome and makes things more challenging once you start getting the hang of it. Those early runs will take on average 30 minutes, but the game gets harder and longer everytime you beat the final boss, so expect up to an hour of gameplay to reach the final, final boss. That's fine for a roguelike session, and you can always "pause" a run to pick it up again later, as the game saves your progress at the start of each sector. On top of that, there are also challenges that focus on particular types of gameplay (Rock throwing, drone fighting...), and the brand-new Infinity's Edge mode, introduced as a Free Dlc ! This "post-game" campaign gives you maxed-up powers from the start, which drastically changes how they work and how effective they are, to fight off the toughest enemies right away. It also adds new powers, new curses that come with benefits, and new bosses for those who have seen it all in the base game. An awesome, and well designed addition ! So I've really had to scratch my head to come up with flaws, but here's what I could find. On the rare occasion that you die far into in a run, it's a little discouraging to start a new one, given how samey the beginning feels. I guess the game can also feel repetitive once you've seen and tried it all (so, you know, after 40+ hours...). And as much as I enjoyed the Infinity's Edge mode, having to play through it 12 to 15 times to see the real ending is a bit much. Just a bit ! No, the only issue that may actually qualify as one, is the rare frame drops and lags that I've encountered in Infinity's Edge, when multiple bosses are on screen and bullets are flying everywhere. Never to the point of becoming unplayable, though. I've had an awesome time with Galactic Glitch. It's not very hard, but trying out different combinations of powers and weapons is always fun, and the final bosses that turn into light bullet hells are great fights. An excellent 8. I'd even recommend it to those (like me) who don't have a special affinity with twin-stick shooters !
Good game ruined by horrible design choices and abysmal balance. It is not that the game is too hard that ruins the balance. Just that some weapons are so clearly superior to all others and some powerups are so clearly ridiculously OP that it becomes stale super quick. You are either punishing yourself or you are picking the stuff that is absurdly OP. Same with enemies. And lifegain drops. When stage 2 drops about 5 or more lifegain items and stage 3 drops zero, the gamer gets confused. And there is a LOT of confusion going on. Some players like exploration. I like facts. "What does that even do?" is the defining thought the first few hours. The dev wrote a "guide" but that isnt even a guide. Another balance catastrophe: You get not nearly enough glitch bombs to use them as door openers and chest keys early. on. So you should never waste them. Then in the last level, you get like 30 and have no doors or chest to open with. Sooooo... you want me to use them in combat? But in 10 hours, I didnt use a single one in combat so far. I dont even know what they DO, no idea how big the explosion is, if it clears enemy projectiles, no idea what the HECK is even going on. Just... a lot of horrible design choices made by somebody deeply familiar with the software they created, expecting others to be psychic or have the patience of buddah to figure stuff out by accident. Also loot crates can be exploded. Not just shot by you, but exploded by environmental items that trigger when you get close. A loot crate drifts to an item like that, poof, loot gone. This doesnt serve any purpose other than making you mad. The game feels very much like the love project of one designer that does know how to build a game but does NOT know how to avoid terrible decisions. I cannot recommend if you like facts or like to make a plan and if you like games with variety. Controls are good though.
I got this game during the summer festival at a discount and I can say it has been a welcome surprised. Pros + Excellent difficulty curve, as I made progress in the game so did it got harder and harder yet at no point did I felt it was unfair or the jumps were too high, if anything I enjoyed the challenge brought by the progression. + There are no bad powerups, with the right build even the most humble powerup can play a key role in victory. + The Randomness of the game doesn't make or brake a run, your choices and more importantly your skill will decide the outcome. Cons - The Randomness of the game can sometimes make it really hard to make a build, then again I might have been stubborn trying to shoehorn a build instead of pivoting toward another. - You better make a build fast if you are playing in the highest difficulty, the enemies at the later stages are no joke and while I enjoyed the challenged I can see how someone may get frustrated with those enemies. Sad -No matter how hard you try you will eventually realize there are better builds than missile builds.
Honestly a shockingly good game, the movement and combat feels very fluid.
You might get a few hours of fun out of this game while you're figuring things out, but there really isn't much depth to be found. I won't complain much about the story being subpar (though it really is), because the biggest issue by far is the lack of balance. Both in terms of builds (there are elements that the moment you use them turn out to be so obviously superior that you've no reason to ever go for anything else) and overall gameplay (once you have a semi-competent build, you can annihilate normal combat rooms, even without meta-upgrades and the only way the bosses can even try to provide a challenge is through bullet hell attacks that your ship is to slippery to handle with precision). The gravity gun, while a neat gimmick at first, also doesn't have much depth. If you build for it, then all you do in combat is fly around spamming the grab and release button at every opportunity with zero thought. And that becomes especially apparent in challenges that take away your normal weapons.
