great game, quite old, graphics are outdated for the games we get now, yet they aren't jarring and matter of fact kinda charming. some achievements are co-op locked which isn't perfect but good overall. add sex and it'll be 10/10.
-Landed on a planet -Made some soup -Sent it to space 10/10
Sidescrolling construction/automation game in which you construct automated soup factories to export soup to the galaxy whilst defending your holdings against hostile rival companies. Decent concept, but lacks in execution in much the same way as games like Two-Point Hospital, in that you’ll have seen pretty much everything the game has to offer within the first few levels, with every map thereafter merely being an exercise in repetition. Also, the game wants you to set up a large automated factory, but the levels themselves are so short that you’ll almost always win right as you’re really starting to get things going.
NOM NOM where your mission is to create a Soup company in unexplored planets with some kind of aliens but no worries you have soup to make send them with your rockets to the gullets of thee galaxy Fun game to play and if you have friends its even more fun so yes total worth it
I've loooved this game since I was a kid, but jeez the online co-op is pretty bad when adding more than 1 extra player, which breaks my heart
Follow my curator page for more reviews!
At first I was enjoying Nom Nom Galaxy while playing it with my friend, and then the multiplayer issues began. The state this game was left in when played in online co-op is completely unacceptable. The game constantly freezes, crashes, bugs out and restarts the day, and has unplayable amounts of lag after playing for a little bit. Apparently all of these issues have been mentioned in the forum since release 11 years ago, and the devs never bothered fixing them. I don't even understand why the lag issue crops up when it should be using Peer-to-Peer connection? But perhaps not and it's relying on some server that is in serious need of being replaced. As far as gameplay goes it seems okay, maybe if you're getting this purely for single-player you'll like it more, thought it was already getting repetitive after one planet (planets are basically stages/levels). There really needs to be more stuff to unlock for base building. I also find the whole day cycle thing a bit obnoxious. I don't think there's enough time in a day and I don't really see the point of each planet being split up into multiple days when it's not changing anything gameplay-wise or planet-wise other than wiping all the items you had laying on the floor and in machines. It just seems to be there to be annoying and ruin the pacing. I think it would've been vastly more interesting if this was instead a continuous sandbox-y game where you keep expanding your soup factory and competing with other soup companies until they get run out of business by you, then new ones appear, rinse and repeat until you hit some profit goal and can afford to fly to another planet.
I like the game but the damn thing keeps crashing. I can run Dune Awakening no problems, but this crashes every 2 min
