Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.71/day in the week to Aug 27 → 39.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Why would anyone recommend this game? The servers are constantly laggy, it’s flooded with pretty cosmetic mods, yet the modding SDK hasn’t been updated at all. Even mods from the Steam Workshop don’t work. I honestly have no idea what the dev team does all day.
PixARK is a game I wanted to like straight away because it takes the survival and dinosaur idea and turns the whole world into blocks. I start out with basically nothing and have to gather materials, make tools, build a place to live and work out how I am going to survive. The big difference is that I can dig into almost everything around me and build things back up however I want. I can play alone or build up a tribe, and there is enough freedom here for me to completely lose track of time just making my own base. The dinosaurs are easily the biggest reason I enjoy it. There are more than 100 creatures that I can tame, train and ride, and they are not all there just to look nice. I can use different creatures for travelling, carrying things and helping me deal with threats. I like the process of finding something useful, working out how to tame it and then slowly building up a collection of creatures that actually help me survive. There are also mythical creatures and even magical creatures, so it is not limited to realistic dinosaurs. That gives PixARK a much sillier identity than a normal dinosaur survival game. Building is probably the other part where I can spend far too much time. The voxel system lets me dig through the ground, shape the terrain and build structures block by block. I can make a simple shelter when I first start or eventually build something much bigger once I have the materials. Creative Mode is especially nice when I just want to build without worrying about gathering everything first. I also like that the maps are procedurally generated, so starting a new world can completely change where I find resources, caves and dangerous creatures. There is a surprising amount of RPG stuff mixed into all of this as well. I can level up, improve my character through skill trees and customise my stats depending on how I want to play. I can craft normal tools and weapons, but there are also more ridiculous things later on, including magic equipment and futuristic weapons. I like that strange mixture because riding around on a dinosaur is already fairly silly, and being able to use something like a rocket launcher on top of it makes the whole game feel deliberately over the top. The biggest problem for me is the polish. PixARK can feel clunky in ways that are difficult to ignore, especially with movement, menus and some of the general survival systems. The voxel world looks colourful, but the environments can sometimes feel empty or repetitive, and the procedural generation does not always create areas that feel particularly memorable. The huge amount of crafting also means I can spend a lot of time gathering materials for things that only make a small difference. I enjoy the freedom, but I think the game sometimes gives me too many systems without making them work together as smoothly as they could. There is also a lot of content around the main game now. I have the original island, the free Skyward content, Wonder in Water and various extra creatures and events that have been added over the years. The game has continued receiving updates well after its original release, including new creatures and seasonal content, so it is not something that was simply left untouched. I like that because survival games work much better for me when there is a sense that there is always another creature, area or building idea waiting for me. There is even a Workshop where I can add custom content and experiment beyond the standard game. Overall, PixARK is a messy but very entertaining survival game that works best when I embrace how ridiculous it is. I like taming dinosaurs, digging through the world, building huge bases and slowly improving my character, and the combination of voxel building with dinosaurs and fantasy creatures gives it plenty of personality. The rough controls, repetitive gathering and inconsistent world generation keep it away from the really high ratings for me, but there is a huge amount I can do once I get into it. It is not the most polished survival game I have played, but I think there is enough freedom and variety here to make it worth sinking a lot of time into. Rating: 7.7/10
