I have a Ping! I have a Pong! I have a Pufferfish! And now together! Ping Pong Pufferfish!!! So welcome to PING PONG PUFFERFISH! Oh yeah, what a Lame Introduction, eh? I know what you are thinking, i really know. >> Looks like Wyvern has finally loose his mind!<< No, he didn´t. To be honest, this may be my shortest Review ever, so i decided to stretch it a little bit. To the Game. You have a canon with one Ball. Shoot the Ball into the Bottle. Thats all. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2677696646 No, thats not all. Do this over 70 coloured nice Levels. Do this later with more then one Canon and more Balls. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2677697048 It sounds easy, but it isn´t, dear Reader it isn´t. The Level get more and more tricky with obstacles, moving objects and of course Pufferfishs. Yes, Pufferfishs. That round fishes with many Spikes. If you hit a Pufferfish, your Ball is broken. But don´t worry, you have unlimited balls. The Clou ist hat there are different ways to get a Ball into a Bottle. Do it with one Ball the logical and physical Way and you will later see, when you can shoot more then one Ball that you also have to think about to get balls into the Bottle with colliding them with other. And the last way, works also, shoot, shoot, shoot and hope that a Ball will get into the bottle. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2677697409 No matter how you do it, it is fun. Pure and chilling fun and also very, very addicting. Good Job, dear DEV. With simple Mechanics, maximum Fun. Thanks for inviting me. And thank YOU dear Reader for reading. All in all, Ping Pong Pufferfish is a hero shooter in which players have to think about how to make a ball before it can be placed in a bottle. This game tests the player's patience, accuracy and collision logic. Put the ball in the bottle. It is not easy, the player has to think and choose the appropriate type of ball.
It's definitely a fun game. The point is simple - you have to launch the ball correctly into the hole of a large bottle. I got the game at a small discount and have never regretted it.
an experience
Ping Pong Pufferfish is an arcade beer Pong kind of game without the beer. The goal is to shoot balls with your cannon and get your ball inside a jar, which sounds easy but isn't. It gets frustrating fast when the balls enters the hole of the jar but suddenly its getting pushed out again. Even though, every map is different with unique obstacles it still feels very repetitive and boring. The people in the reviews seem to like it, but I personally just don't have the patience for it. Overall, playing this game feels like a waste of my time.

Cool game that needs logic and precise aiming. The game is suitable for slower computers. Many exciting achievements and support for a large number of languages. With each level it becomes more difficult, as it should be in arcades. I like it. Respect to the developer.
Ping Pong Pufferfish

Rage Simulator
I’ve played a lot of low-effort shovelware games before. So, this isn’t a brand new experience for me. Just from seeing the game’s Steam Store page, I already knew the quality of the game that I would be playing. I raged a lot in this game……I will tell you why later in this review.
Note to the devs: I am sorry if I seem harsh in some parts. Please take whatever I say as constructive criticism. I do recognize the effort you put into the game but I am just giving my opinions on this game. Oh, & I did not get paid to write a negative review, I am doing this on my own accord. Thank you!

About This Game

Storyline
It’s an arcade-style level-based game, so it has no storyline. You just have to finish the current level & move on to the next one.
Gameplay Mechanics
The game has a very simple objective, you need to shoot the ball from the cannon inside the pot. Yeah, it sounds pretty simple but it actually isn’t. The only thing you can control is the direction of the shot. The power of the shot is always fixed. Apart from the lack of a power meter, the game also throws several obstacles in your way. This is actually a good thing since it increases the difficulty of the level. But sometimes, they overdo it. The hole in the pot is also a bit too small. It’s so small that the only possible way of getting the ball into it is by ensuring that it falls directly into the hole. Side shots just bounce off the hole’s rims. This is the part that triggered me a lot. It took a lot of attempts to finish even the simplest level. There are also power-ups you can pick up. These power-ups apply throughout the whole game, so they’re basically permanent buffs. One of the power-ups increases the number of balls you can shoot at once & the other one allows you to cut fruits. If any of the balls hit the borders of the game, then they disappear. This means that you can’t bounce your shots off the walls which makes the game a bit too hard. I don’t know why they did this, wall bounces could’ve been really useful. The game is badly optimized. It has the basic low-quality 2d assets & the gameplay is very very simple & for some reason, I can’t get more than 60 FPS. Maybe they capped it at 60 by default & I can’t change it. Another weird thing is that I experience sudden FPS drops. What’s worse is that the balls become slower if your FPS drops, like their power suddenly decreases. I don’t know if it’s something that I only experienced or it’s a common bug, but I hope they fix it. So, why does the game have the term “Pufferfish” in its name? Well, pufferfishes are obstacles in the game. When your ball comes into contact with them, they immediately break (Your ball breaks, not the fish). The gameplay becomes harder as you complete more levels. Suddenly, you’re controlling more than one canon, obstacles & pots start to move, new obstacles appear, etc. They did work a lot in making the game progressively more difficult, we gotta respect that. The good thing about this game is that it has a lot of levels & variety in the levels. The variety exists in the difficulty of the challenge & the number of obstacles present. If I am right, the game has a total of 62 levels. I didn’t finish the game since it tested my patience a bit too much. I am very impatient. :(
Visuals & Audio
Man, this game feels & looks so cheap. The assets used are of very low quality. Let’s start with the main menu. It looks so bad. The background looks a bit too zoomed in & has a bad resolution as it’s a bit pixelated. There’s a lot of unnecessary numbers on the screen. I don’t know why the game’s current version, FPS, Current level in Level_Number format & the mouse’s position are shown on the screen all the time. There is also an event console thing that sends a message whenever you do something. Like, if you collect a power-up, it sends a message that says “Reward=7001”. They seem to have forgotten to disable this. They even advertise their other games within this game. Talk about shameless plugs Lmfao. In conclusion, the UI & the assets used are horrible. I have nothing to say about the soundtracks they used since it doesn’t matter if the visuals are bad.
Pros

Challenging game.
Has a lot of levels & variety.
Every level you complete gives you a Steam achievement.

Cons

Everything about the game feels cheap.
The game is a bit too hard.
Unnecessary information is shown to the player through the UI.
The game needs to be polished a lot.
It would be better if they added a mechanic so we can control the power of our shots.
Badly optimized.
Advertisements for other games by the same developers. There should be no ads in a game that we pay for.

Conclusion
It’s been a while since I wrote a negative review. But it is what it is. I do not recommend getting this game. If you have money to spare & want to play some rage-inducing levels, then go ahead & grab it during a sale. That’s all from me! Reviewer: Midplayz I lost all my brain cells while playing this game. In general, the game is more or less good. You can buy at a discount. There are bugs, but they are not critical.
Very nice, warm, relaxing, quite fun game. A very positive game with which you can spend more than one evening. Great game design. I downloaded it in a state of complete despondency, having come to a state of rest and peace of mind. Do I recommend it? Definitely yes.
