Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.33/day in the week to Aug 5 → 3/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun for a short time but it gets more and more unmanagable.

Chill and relaxing Building game, even if you are not the greatest builder. Explosions are hilarious starting out, then you learn to avoid them them like the plague, placing things strategically, and thinking ahead.

I played this game a bunch when it came out, and REALLY enjoyed it. Great game with big potential. Then 1.0 came out with a lot of errors and a literal development build instead of a stable release. When (or IF) this game leaves abandonement i will gladly play it some more and change my review. For now i'm so dissapointed that in a year after that horrible release nothing has changed. So sorry.

Le jeu à l'air intéressant vraiment, mes le niveau ou le jeu te mes en difficulté est trop punitif, je m'attendais à un jeu chill, mes pas du tout bien cancer le jeu.... NEXT
I was initially drawn to Pile Up due to its charming visuals and catchy name. The game's colorful and whimsical aesthetic is certainly eye-catching, and the concept of building an ever-growing metropolis is intriguing. However, my enthusiasm waned as soon as I began playing the game. While the gameplay itself is incredibly easy to pick up, I found myself struggling with understanding the underlying mechanics and objectives. It seems that the main goal is to increase the population of villagers while keeping them happy, but this isn't explicitly explained anywhere in the game. As I continued to play, I realized that the objective was not only to build upwards by piling structures on top of each other, but also to plan the urban complex around support structures or factories that don't necessarily contribute to villager happiness. This added layer of complexity is certainly an interesting twist, but it's frustratingly unclear how to achieve this balance. One major issue I encountered was the camera system. The inability to adjust the camera to see buildings at the back of the map adds a significant amount of frustration to the gameplay experience. It's difficult to plan and manage your metropolis effectively when you can't see what's happening behind the scenes. Furthermore, I experienced some bugs in the user interface that made it difficult to navigate and perform certain actions. While these issues were not game-breaking, they did detract from my overall experience and made me question whether or not I was playing the game as intended. Overall, while Pile Up has its charming visuals and an interesting concept, I'm not sure if I would have purchased the game at the recommended retail price. Fortunately, it came bundled with other games in a Humble bundle, which made it a more palatable value proposition.
