Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Sep 14 → 4.33/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The 2.0 update is extensive, transforming nearly every aspect of the game, but the highlights include:
Fully realized pilots – Recruit pilots with over 100 unique pilot traits and abilities which allow for in-depth buildcrafting and synergies with your mechs. With a new recruitment and class specialization system, expansive leveling with varied progression trees, combined with new visual customisation options, you can build your own flavor of deadly (and stylish) ace pilots.
A reworked campaign – New maps, new quests, and new combat scenarios along with fully rebalanced factions ensure you face varied squads with different equipment, armour and unit configurations. You have even more reason to collect new equipment and experiment with different loadouts to take on these new threats.
Completely reimagined overworld – Explore new provinces, varied landscapes and overhauled campaign systems. New liberation and overworld mechanics, new points of interest and events, new province modifiers and improved mission generation provide a varied, constantly evolving environment to encourage players to adapt and overcome.
A HUGE amount of community driven quality of life updates – New salvage and debriefing menus, new mission previews and reward generation, reworked workshop and crafting, improved damage logic and prediction, new options and difficulty settings, comprehensive weapon balancing, subsystem reworks and much more!
Phantom Brigade is a cinematic, tactical mech strategy game with an innovative timeline-based command system. See the future, predict enemy actions, and plot your counterattack on the timeline! Recruit and level up your squad of rebels to retake war-torn Fyrland from the Kaskad occupation.
Cinematic spin on the turn-based genre – Predict enemy movements, orchestrate precisely timed countermeasures, and hit “execute” to watch the physics-based action unfold in real time.
Extensive customization – Featuring a rich customization system, Phantom Brigade enables you to fine-tune the performance of your mechs, install a wide selection of equipment, and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Prepare your squad for any challenge - in style.
An expansive arsenal – Railguns, beam weapons, missiles, energy swords, and more! Rain destruction down upon your homeland’s invaders with weaponry salvaged from each enemy mech you defeat.
Strategic tactical combat – Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your mobile base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Take command of your squad in varied missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment and convoy ambushes to liberation battles and challenging outpost onslaughts.
Destructible environments – It's not a proper game about giant mechs without destructible buildings! Phantom Brigade allows every square meter of each battle map to be destroyed. Shatter your enemy’s cover and collapse buildings on top of them!

Thew combat system is fun, the mech customization and loadout fiddling is also good. Story is light but you are really playing this for the combat anyway.
Before the 2.0 update, the game was good. Not great, or amazing. Just good. But there was some flaws and shortcomings. The new 2.0 update kicks ass and overall makes massive upgrades and changes to the game that genuinely make it a lot better. I was sceptical that it would be worth the trouble, but it was, and now the game has became a lot more interesting, especially in the long run, and less repetitive than before.

It has so much potential, but the actual gameplay is so boring. I love mech strategy games and have put hundreds of hours into them. This one is very bland. Play HBS Battletech or something instead.
Very Cool Game if you like turn based Combat that game is a must 8.5/10
I first bought Phantom Brigade way back when it first came out, in my forever search for new X-Com-esque games to scratch the itch. I was left disappointed with what I found, Phantom Brigade felt confused, the mech customization was basic, and the campaign mode mechanics were confusing. I fell off pretty quick, having played just enough to not be able to refund the game again. The 2.0 update brought me back, and was it ever worth the wait. The addition of pilots with traits (alongside a very well realized Prestige system to let you keep leveling and perfecting your pilots even after they cap out) really fleshes out the customization that felt so lacking. The campaign is more focused and guides you mechanically to challenges, including all-new boss encounters and mid-combat surprises to shake things up. It feels like a new game and a breath of fresh air, and well worth the purchase price. If you can spring for it, pick this up alongside Tactical Breach Wizards.
Pretty good, its fun and simple. I hope you guys give it more updates.
Absolute Tactical! I Iadore this game. It's so precise in its design, so clean and the gameplay possibillities go far beyond what it seems. A super fast ninja mech that slices through enemies? Ohyeah! A Tanky steam roller that crashes other mechs along the way? Go for it! A barrage of snipers? Why not?All this with a deep and engaging pace, lots of customization and a plethora of workshop mods. A definite: "one more battle before I go to sleep" game.
I've played this game in several forms since launch and I will say after 2.0 its awesome and you should absolutely give it a try if you like tactics games, especially if you like simultaneous turn based games like me. If you were disappointed at launch or after the 1.0 campaign update, this fixes the issues I had with it. Pilots actually have stats and level up and matter when they die, camping and repairing your mechs or resting your pilots can become a tactical desicion and you can run low on resources and have to make difficult decisions. Its a must if you just love assembling big mecha and watching them shoot each other. I'm loving it in 2.0.
