It's not quite ghostbusters, but it's a mix of like ghostbusters and Resident Evil and just general action adventure games. It's got you fighting some ghosties, but also solving some puzzles. It's a fun adventure investigating a haunted manor! At only $10.99 USD, I don't think you'll find many better games at this price point in VR. It looks budget because of the low polygon art style, but there was a lot of love put into making this game and it shines through. The manor has many levels to explore with different areas and different type of ghosts. You get new abilities as you get further into the game. For a game with simple graphics and simple gameplay, it has a lot of hidden depth behind it which make it a fun adventure to go on. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting a steady 90 fps. You have full locomotion, teleportation, smooth and snap turning available. You can play comfortably seated. My only complaints are that this game really needs voice acting versus the floating text bubbles. Also, the smooth turn is a little slow and gripping the multi-purpose scanner with 2 hands is slightly off (avatar hands are not quite right holding it). [b]Rate 7.5/10. I preface this by saying that I haven’t played Luigis mansion, and I don’t play VR This was a very enjoyable adventure with a very smart design and metroidvania structure. Some minor bugs did appear, mainly a chest getting stuck under the floor and I couldn’t leave the first boss area after the fight. But overall, it’s a super impressive and ambitious first outing for a solo dev I’m hoping to see more of. Sidenote, because of the artstyle, this game looks really good in 640 x 480 and I really wanted to play it that way. But the UI above the weapon wasn’t fully visible in 4:3 so I opted to not play it that way.

Short and sweet game with a bunch of fun bosses, great puzzles and amazing atmosphere! I can't speak for VR but on PC it ran beautifully and the whole thing gave me old-school Luigi's Mansion vibes.

This game was really fun. I had a great time with it. Everything was like Luigi's Mansion but VR with some stuff that make it it's own thing. Still a lot of parallels to it tho lol. It was tough for me but I solved this all on my own. Although I did clip myself down to the final area when it was time to go there. I found that pretty fun. Over all I say if ya have not tried this game yet def give it a try it's a really fun time. 8/10

Phantom bound is a new exciting Metroidvania first-person action adventure with inspirations from Luigis mansion. Shadowthorne, the mansion, is massive, with several floors and features a large variety of rooms with their own little secrets. As you go deeper into the mansion, you'll meet smaller ghosts, which together can pose a challenge when they gang up and gets a little too close for comfort. The showstealer imho are the boss ghosts. These ghosts are more like characters and has to be taken down in increasingly complex ways where combine your growing arsenal of powerups with the environment and furniture of the mansion. 10/10 would recommend. Don't forget to look for secrets!

Game is alot of fun to play in VR, has some bugs but the dev is very active in fixing them. Well worth the asking price :)

Very cool game! Perfect on my steam deck and the innovative combat feels very refreshing!
