About
In this version of chess the units don't instantly take each other out which makes small mistakes less punishing. The chess pieces have health-bars that must be depleted by attacks before they're eliminated. You can heal your troops to keep them alive.
You control where your units go and they will automatically attack opponents when they can. The units also try to automatically heal themselves if the right conditions are met. For example the Bishop can heal pieces that stand diagonal to him and the Pawns heals itself when moved.
Find treasures and loot powerful weapons to distribute amongst your characters to increase their health and strength. Along the way you can add more chess pieces to your group. Select units that synergies well together to maximize the groups power. Upgrade your units and your spells as you level up.
After a chessboard has been cleared you can choose which path to go next. You can choose to avoid a difficult chessboard or maybe the rewards are worth the tougher fight? Deep into the castle you'll encounter monsters, giants and bosses. Will you make it all the way and become the new ruler?

1. Chess is fun, who doesn't like chess 2. Very strategic, yet opposite, which is fun 3. Lots of challenges 4. Has an infinite mode so new possibilities 5. Leader board if you wanna try to beat me in my 1st place in both endless and standard mode 6. Pretty fast with lost of possibilities because of skills 7. There is a "Let no pieces die in standard mode" for a HUGE CHALLENGE
Very cool game concept, and a lot of fun to play so far!
Video: https://youtu.be/GxiNrx9gmXI I will say that yes, it is Turn-Based Tactics-ish... It doesn't quite feel like it because of how you move your pieces. Also once you get lucky and snag a Queen it's really easy to find yourself sucked into trying to solo everything with the Queen. Because the Queen is bad-ass, just like real chess. It's a quite enjoyable strategy game that is probably meant to be played by utilizing all of your chess pieces. But I'm a simple guy and spent most of my time finding ways to do things solo. It worked really well until it didn't, and that's just my own fault. I feel like this is one of the most unique chess games out there, and for fans of Chess and Strategy - I think it's also an absolutely fantastic choice to pick up.
It's great. Like chess mixed with Warhammer.
game is amazing only played it for 1 hour and its really good just one small problem the music. the boss musics are good (mostly) but i think it can be just a bit more tense. i really hope to see more for this game :D
Pretty Cool... Fantastic theme! Couple things though... I think I should be allowed to loot after beating the boss. That's the typical order of things. Hard for to me get used to grabbing the chest during the fight. Great graphics and maps! Overall, I had a great time. Thx Devs!!!
Unique idea and I like, thogh I'm not realy sure how and, if it's even possible to get the Arach Bishop achevement and the no deaths achevemnt, since I played 2 games for each color chess pieces, and couldn't find it(the Arch Bishop),meanwhile I don't think it's possible to get no death award simply because in the arena, whre you fight the Giant Knight you start of with like 15 pawns extra,.and they count twards the deaths. I like the Giant Eye boss, because you'll most likely fail once ot twice before you understand that you'll probably need to use a Knight while healing you king and other pieces, because enemies also come from the two doors. Another boss I like is the Giant Rook, who although not needing a unique strategy like the Giant Eye is a difficulty spike compared to the other levels before, making you need to coordinate your pieces to avoid the orbs of wraith OR to catch them granting a small boost for the piece bur also grants the risk of said piece to die or get severly hurt if the orb crashes in to the enemy first. I think the game feels a bit bare bones when you beat the main part (wich takes about 5 hours when you're learning te game),but I hope it doesn't stay like that forever. Something that I think would make the game a bit better is adding more stages between bossfights, short quick stages with not that big rewards, these stages might utilise similar traps like from the start of the game like that spike trap that half the time is on and pieces on it will get hurt or the elevator from the Giant Rook bossfight might cary enemies to you and your goal is to go up it to find the door or maybe thwese stages could have the key introduced in the tutorial.
Very fun!
