I got this from a humble bundle (I think) and the game is fun but MILES from worth $25, maybe 3 dollars at MOST It's slow paced and semi repetitive, you go around stomping on rats and collecting herbs to make potions to cure people and burn rat nests that are spreading plague and that's about the gist of it, I did the tutorial and beat the game in less than an hour and it doesn't seem like there is any replay value unless you just really enjoy the gameplay

Game is intriguing, yet not big enough or with enough story line to warrant the price. If the game were $2-5, maybe it would be worth, but at the current price point, it is WAY overpriced for what you get.

Pestis is another asset/template flip garbage shovelware entry from Laush Studio, who make a living ripping off the work of actual developers, putting their own name on it and dumping it on Steam as a cash grab (just take a look at how many asset flips and template copy+pastes are in their game catalogue on Steam!) This one is some kind of lazy ripoff of what looks like a tutorial level for a game with plague doctors, it's really just a 2D top down brawler/puzzle game, that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs. As usual I can't recommend dismally low quality cash grabs from asset flippers, so don't bother buying this.

I think I bought this on sale which is a good thing because this game only has a tutorial and one level. I don't know why this is tagged as horror or educational because this is more of an arcade game where the point is collecting points on killed rats, burned corpses, cured people and mixed potions. The mechanics are okay, nothing too complicated, but the character was tediously slow.

THIS GAME IS A SCAM NOW! Absolute Garbage for the Price. Basically all good reviews were from when this game was a literal Dollar. For which it was still pretty bad. Now they try to rip you off for 25 bucks.

А вот и актуалочку подвезли! Наш добрый доктор Айболит отважно противостоит распространению каронолингусной инфекции. Лечит больных метким ударом скальпеля в шею, а так же собирает разноцветную муравушку, жрёт грибочки и пинает крыс...очень весёлый парень.)

overall good. can recommend it. the price of this game is way to high but in offer for -90% alright.

Pestis is not a bad game. But it lacks content, is very repetitive and barely offers more than 2 hours of gameplay (if you want to get all achievements). I was entertained for 2 hours but i don't want to imagine the disappointment had i bought this game for full price. 2 hours for 20 bucks is just not enough.

Каким же было моё удивление, что цена возросла до 465 рублей. Это такая шутка от разработчика? Если да, то она не смешная. Советую покупать по скидке в 95%. Если же такового случая не предвидится, то ничего не потеряете, не поиграв в эту игру. Она хорошая, но не что-то из ряда вон выходящее с глубоким смыслом, интересным сюжет или различными механиками. Ищешь больных мужиков, мажешь мазью из травок и всё прекрасно! С достижениями тут вообще веселье! Вроде всего 6, одно из которых получаешь за прохождение туториала, но остальные... Сначала помри, потом спаси от одного до четырёх человек, потом от пяти до десяти, потом от десяти до пятнадцати, потом от пятнадцати и выше... То есть ты сначала спас одного, а потом ждёшь, пока помрут остальные 38, чтобы получить ачивку, после спасаешь пятерых - опять ждёшь и так далее. Слишком муторно и скучно. Разнообразия в картах нет, режимы сложности отсутствуют, никаких новшеств нет. За старую цену - замечательная игрушка, за новую - не рекомендую покупать.
