Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 5.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
From Obsidian, this game is a historical narrative-driven game focusing on character development, heavily stylized art, and choice-driven storytelling in early 16th century Bavaria. Players will play as Andreas Maler, a clever illustrator caught up in a series of murders in Tassing and Kiersau Abbey over the course of twenty five years. Players will be responsible for conducting their own investigation to decide the fate of the community, but each decision will have lasting consequences and inexorably draws Andreas closer to the center of an underlying conspiracy.
Experience 16th century Europe as the master artists of the time saw them. Art inspired by great illuminated manuscripts and the earliest printed books becomes a living, breathing world in Pentiment.
Choose different academic and social backgrounds and meet a colorful cast of characters as you discover the stories and secrets that lie within the small Bavarian town of Tassing and nearby Keirsau Abbey.
In an era of great religious and political change, each decision you make can have a profound impact on the community’s future. Find your own way through this turbulent time and see the consequences of your choices play out over generations.

Juegón no matéis a fortu
Excellent jeu narratif, beau et émouvant.
A narrative slow burn over decades? Text based conversations? Lovely art and animation? A history and time worth learning about? Yea Pentiment has it all. Game designed for sickos (me)

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Pentiment is the best book you'll ever play. Whilst it lacks much gameplay besides picking dialogue choices - even a Telltale game will have you pressing more buttons than Pentiment - it never suffers from this. The story is the game, told through some of the most mangificent artwork and music I have ever witnessed in media. The way Pentiment presents itself is deliberate and so well thought out, it blends all the aspects of this game together in a way that elevates it to a true work of art. But more importantly Pentiment was clearly made by people with a vast knowledge and heartfelt love for history; not just a love for the Reformation era, but all of history in its many twists and turns. It gets right to the heart of what the past and remembrance means to us, all the people who lived and died, so distant to us and yet so lovingly human and familiar. History will confront you in this game, just as it does in the real world; all the good and the bad and how we must make sense of it all. Highly recommended if you like well written story driven games that stick with you long after.
Incredible
Masterpiece. As an individual, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DO.
Slow start but hang in there this is fantastic game and well worth the time.
Was soll man sagen? Pentiment stößt so viele Themen an.
