Completion: Career level 18/30, ~59.2 hours played Overall Score: 6.5/10

A fun hardware sandbox that runs out of meaningful progression too early
Recommended if you enjoy PC hardware tinkering more than deep long-term career progression.

Context
Platform: PC Controls: keyboard + mouse Playtime at review: ~59.2 hours Mode played: single-player

What This Game Is in 2-3 Sentences
PC Building Simulator is a workshop management sim where you diagnose problems, replace parts, clean machines, build upgrades, run benchmarks, and send customer jobs back for money and reputation. It starts as a satisfying budget puzzle, especially when money is tight and you have to make smart compromises, but later it settles into a much more routine and predictable loop. The core loop: check emails, diagnose the problem, buy or reuse parts, build or upgrade the PC, test it, hand it in, repeat. What makes it interesting/unique: the huge amount of real hardware and the fantasy of running your own PC repair and custom build shop.

What Is Especially Good
1) The early progression is genuinely fun. Limited money makes jobs more interesting, and there are some satisfying challenges where you need to fit enough performance into a strict budget. 2) The hardware variety is strong, and once customers have enough money the game lets you build more creative machines. I also liked the IT Expansion content, especially the office IT jobs, offsite work, and the ability to hand tasks off to the night shift.

What Is Problematic
1) The game becomes repetitive after a while. Once both you and your customers have enough money, most jobs stop being challenging and the career starts to feel more like routine maintenance than actual problem solving. 2) The long-term progression is weaker than it should be. By around level 18, meaningful unlocks already start drying up, so being forced to keep grinding jobs just to level up further and buy more company shares feels unnecessary.

Technical State
FPS / stability / loading: Stable throughout, no major technical issues. Bugs: none

Price / Value / Monetization
Full price: Hard to recommend unless you are really into PC hardware. On sale: Much easier to recommend, especially for fans of the theme. Microtransactions / DLC: The IT Expansion is a smart addition with some fresh ideas; the eSports DLC is separate, but I did not play that one.

Summary in 2 Sentences
Who I recommend it to: PC hardware fans and players who want a chill, creative workshop sandbox with lots of licensed parts to play with. Who I do not recommend it to: Anyone who gets bored quickly by repetition, dislikes slow progression, or expects the career mode to keep evolving in meaningful ways for the whole campaign.
It's weird how working in IT is stressful, but pretending to work in IT is relaxing. Love it.

I don't understand why this gets good reviews.
solid game, good storyline, and you can acualy learn about pc specs. definetly recomend
