About

PAY 2 WIN is an incremental strategy game about running a game studio. Customize your progression, find epic rewards, and discover clever ways to go infinite, as you're joined by Annie and May, your cute anime-inspired assistants.
Your decisions alter your run and affect your story. One thing is certain - to make it in this industry, you'll need strategy, a bit of luck, and resources. Lots and lots of resources.
The grid represents your game studio, split into tiles on a 2D plane. Grow your office space by completing missions, find rare facilities to place on your grid, and increase their rarity and output. Placing certain facilities together activates unique buffs, combos, and output multipliers that benefit your run, letting you reach greater levels and unlock new progression.
Talents give certain facilities and playstyles passive benefits - Link compatible facilities together to create output chains that force multiply your output. Rare, Legendary items at the end of certain questlines and stories superpower your playthrough and unlock completely new styles of play.

Over 100 unique facilities to pick from! Every playthrough has randomized rewards ranging in rarity from Common to Legendary. Each selectable facility has unique and handcrafted pixel art with a retro vibe, complete with unique animations, effects and sounds sure to keep you wondering what's next!

Specialize your run into one of several unique styles of play, or mix and match to your heart's content! Play a run in a standard idle fashion, gaining buffs and output bonuses based on leaving your game idle, or opt into more active playstyles and select facilities that work with click actions, managing cooldowns, juggling buffs and debuffs, and so much more! The choice is yours!

Cast powerful magic spells that increase output, reduce other cooldowns, or grant other, curious effects. The magic system is fully integrated with your facilities, and they interact with one another, granting secret synergy potentials and letting your curiosity shine as your mastery grows. Learn new combinations, specialize your magic to your playstyle, and even start an apocalypse or two!

You're the new CEO of a failing games studio, and it's your task to take the company from the brink of closure to the top of the charts! How you do this is up to you - at key points in the story, you'll have the option to decide how best to approach problems, resolve scenarios, and alter the course of the story. You're not alone in your quest, however - as your two assistants, Annie, and May, beautifully realized in a cute anime aesthetic, come to your aid. Each of your assistants have their own personalities, preferences, and desires - and it is your job to choose which route to go down!

Experience handcrafted visuals, animations, and effects as you progress through the game. The UI is vibrant, with your assistants, elements, and even the background itself shifting and changing depending on your in-game actions. Plug in your headphones for an auditory feast as you enjoy several futuristic tracks, experience unique sound effects, and more!

This game is awesome! I hope they add more facilities! The numbers going up is so satisfying!
Played the game for roughly 10 hours now. Good writing, cute characters, numbers flying everywhere. Definitely gonna keep playing to experiment with different builds.
Wow! An incremental deckbuilding visual novel idle game where the main girls make meta jokes? What a weirdly specific sub genre that's right up my alley.
Compared to other idle games, Pay 2 Win's main gimmick is that your earn money through facilities unlocked through card packs. Combined with the limited board space and the link system to earn a better multiplier, the early/mid game can be really fun (especially after a couple ascensions). Do you reorganize the entire board to try and fit in a cool new facility? Or do you buy a bad tile on the board to better fit it with your current setup, even if it's going to hurt in the future? The randomness also forces you to experiment with different facilities you might have never tried. You'll encounter some neat combos/synergies each accension that you'd normally overlook. The visual novel aspect is pretty fun. I like restarting after finishing a route rather than hitting a wall in my progression and debating whether or not to restart. While it's light on story, it has some pretty good jokes in it. While I rolled my eyes at some of them, others really caught me off guard and got a good laugh out of me. While you can play with the V/N part toggled off, I'd highly recommend you try it. Also thumbs up for the music. Usually I mute these types of games, but I quite liked the music here. It's definitely worth your time. It's a lot more engaging that most of the idlers out there where you sit there just buying more buildings. I'll definitely 100% this game later if I can figure out how to trigger the true ending. ################################################################# I will now be laying out all the issues I have with this game since i got a little invested in it. Balance! Since you get card packs at random, you can absolutely get crippled if you get the wrong first couple card packs. Certain crit facilities alone can carry you into the mid game, while spell based facilities are worthless since you also need to use coins to upgrade your spells. I'm sure the balance late game is completely different, but you'll be going through at least a couple restarts before you go deep. In addition, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PICK MAY'S ROUTE FIRST AND
PAY OFF HER DEBT
. The other facilities you get for going down the other routes require certain card packs to work and since you can reach the endings without unlocking all the card packs, they could be completely useless for your whole run! Meanwhile, May's facility allows you to increase your output +200% with zero downside which you can use right away as your second facility. [b ]UI! Increments on facilities don't show up when you hover over them. Every run is a guessing game since I can't tell if it's getting billions from using a facility correctly, or I just incremented it a thousand times over. Please allow me to see the credits/second for an individual facility. Yes, you can just see the popup when it earns credits, when every facility is going off at once, the once facility making 15k can very easily hide in the noise. Bugs! Here's a list of some I've encountered: - Randomly couldn't buy a tile (fixed by restart) - Triggered secret dev dialog twice then stopped any future calls, thus halting my progression (fixed by restart) - Power cards that had no text - Randomly unlocked a perk in the constellation (keep this in please) - Story unlocks on the report card not working correctly. After accession, it just adds another string of story events blocks. At one time, I had to scroll through all the story events x3 just to try and see why I unlocked - Computer restarted over night and since the game only saves on close, so I lost everything I earned that run . However when I opened my save; it put me at the start, didn't give me any items (so no computer), and then played the dialog to give me the tesseract. And since you can't ascend unless you reach an ending, the whole save file is bricked! Holy ♥♥♥♥ am I not playing until auto saves get added (I know you're working on them dont worry)
I really like this game. I even bought the supporter pack. I'm itching to play it again. There are just a few things preventing me from enjoying this game to the fullest.
I enjoyed the game, but I feel like the progression can be slow at times. Pros: * The writing can be funny * I like the soundtrack. * It's satisfying watching the credits go up. Cons: * After a certain point, the progression starts slowing down a lot. * There's a tutorial, but after that you're left to figure things out on your own. * It takes a long time to unlock the ability to prestige, and depending on the build you ended up with, finishing a run can become a chore. Bugs: * The button to refund the upgrades doesn't work.
Relatively chill game that has a lot more mechanics than you actually need to progress or eventually win. It can look intimidating, but don’t be scared; numbers will go up even if you don’t min-max! And your first run will be your hardest before every one afterwards gets easier. Only critique is that unlocking the various endings is a bit opaque and it’s hard to continue replaying when I don’t know what to do differently to unlock everything. But for an idle/incremental game it’s a fun time. Bonus points for full voice acting and a story!
Very nice game! Super cool music, nice story and the animations/graphics are awesome! I recommend 10/10 !
Mechanics aren't especially interesting, writing is especially annoying.
10 unpaid interns making me money Incremental game farms dopamine brrrrr
Too much randomness locking you out of any real synergy between different components. Rerolling links does little to help and ends up wasting resources as each attempt gets more expensive. Upgrading crappy components is a waste of resources and there are too many components that are a waste of space. Unlocking tiles for a specific configuration of existing components and then drawing a new component that is useless under the current unlocked layout. I did get to the "ending" with my first run, but more than half of the components on my board were just taking up space to complete links. All of the things each of those components were meant to do was rendered meaningless without full access to every component from every pack. The only real upside to the game was the fun little story, but that didn't even feel worth all the effort by the end.
