About

PAY 2 WIN is an incremental strategy game about running a game studio. Customize your progression, find epic rewards, and discover clever ways to go infinite, as you're joined by Annie and May, your cute anime-inspired assistants.
Your decisions alter your run and affect your story. One thing is certain - to make it in this industry, you'll need strategy, a bit of luck, and resources. Lots and lots of resources.
The grid represents your game studio, split into tiles on a 2D plane. Grow your office space by completing missions, find rare facilities to place on your grid, and increase their rarity and output. Placing certain facilities together activates unique buffs, combos, and output multipliers that benefit your run, letting you reach greater levels and unlock new progression.
Talents give certain facilities and playstyles passive benefits - Link compatible facilities together to create output chains that force multiply your output. Rare, Legendary items at the end of certain questlines and stories superpower your playthrough and unlock completely new styles of play.

Over 100 unique facilities to pick from! Every playthrough has randomized rewards ranging in rarity from Common to Legendary. Each selectable facility has unique and handcrafted pixel art with a retro vibe, complete with unique animations, effects and sounds sure to keep you wondering what's next!

Specialize your run into one of several unique styles of play, or mix and match to your heart's content! Play a run in a standard idle fashion, gaining buffs and output bonuses based on leaving your game idle, or opt into more active playstyles and select facilities that work with click actions, managing cooldowns, juggling buffs and debuffs, and so much more! The choice is yours!

Cast powerful magic spells that increase output, reduce other cooldowns, or grant other, curious effects. The magic system is fully integrated with your facilities, and they interact with one another, granting secret synergy potentials and letting your curiosity shine as your mastery grows. Learn new combinations, specialize your magic to your playstyle, and even start an apocalypse or two!

You're the new CEO of a failing games studio, and it's your task to take the company from the brink of closure to the top of the charts! How you do this is up to you - at key points in the story, you'll have the option to decide how best to approach problems, resolve scenarios, and alter the course of the story. You're not alone in your quest, however - as your two assistants, Annie, and May, beautifully realized in a cute anime aesthetic, come to your aid. Each of your assistants have their own personalities, preferences, and desires - and it is your job to choose which route to go down!

Experience handcrafted visuals, animations, and effects as you progress through the game. The UI is vibrant, with your assistants, elements, and even the background itself shifting and changing depending on your in-game actions. Plug in your headphones for an auditory feast as you enjoy several futuristic tracks, experience unique sound effects, and more!

Fun game, great voice acting, and a funny story. However, it gets stuck at a certain point where there's not much left to do. The cards you get from packs are usually the same as the latest pack you obtained. For example, if you choose Annie, about 80% of the cards you receive will be Annie cards. This makes it difficult to change your strategy later, since you're basically locked into a magic-focused build from that point on. This is my recommendation: the most enjoyable part of this game is being able to adjust my strategy whenever I get stuck. If the game forces players into a specific path, either directly or indirectly, it becomes boring very quickly. Since it's an incremental game, there isn't much else to do, so having the freedom to experiment with different tactics is what keeps it interesting. The unlocking floor plan system is actually one of the game's weaker features. I unlocked certain floor plans because they fit my strategy at the time, but later, when I obtained new facilities and wanted to change my layout, I couldn't. The new facilities couldn't connect properly with my existing floor plan, which forced me to keep using the same setup. A feature that allows players to sell, remove, or rebuild floor plans would greatly improve the game. It would give players the flexibility to adapt their strategy as they unlock new facilities instead of being permanently locked into earlier decisions.
Granted I haven't finished a run yet but for an incremental game where the focus on combos and structuring your facilities to get the best set up, it really hits a complete content wall block. From the start you progress quick enough where you are able to keep buying packs to get new units and also the skill tree with +1% nothings but when you run out and your luck is bad enough to give you units that don't stack well enough there's not much you can do other than just go to bed with your pc on. Most of the facilities I received are under the May section which is supposed to be idle which is fine but in my playthrough I only have gotten 2 annies to show up and even then they couldn't slot in to make a dent in the money objective. It wouldn't be that much of an issue but with the gameplay almost completely halted this is where I would've had the chance to prestige or do something else gameplay related to pick up the pace again to regain my interest.
you place facilities on a grid to make your game studio produce money. most facilities don't directly produce money, but instead give buffs and power up adjacent facilities. the game is a puzzle to find and arrange facilities that work well together and make money as fast as possible. it's a bit like backpack battles, but without the pvp. you're accompanied by two anime girls - annie and may (very subtle.) may from accounting is focused on profitability, has a gambling problem, and recognizes that you can't make good games if your studio goes bankrupt. annie is a gaming boomer (somewhat disdainful of the modern state of gaming) and also a witch who's become a company VIP with their magic powers and elite gaming skills. they both have the same goal (make the studio succeed) but have opposing views on how it should be done, and their interactions are pretty entertaining and well written for an incremental game. you can auto-skip story dialogue and the game even asks on first play if you want to do so, but i'd recommend not skipping it. you level up as you earn money, giving you star coins which can be used to randomly pull a new facility or make progress on the skill tree. the gacha is quite fair - you can never pull a duplicate facility (except for facilities that allow more than one to be placed) and can pick from three options when you pull, but the star coin cost can be painful at times and there is a constant pressure of choosing whether to risk star coins on a pull or save them up to buy skill tree upgrades instead. facilities can be neutral or aligned with annie/may: annie facilities are about active play, stacking buffs and making big plays when your buffs are all synced up and active. may facilities are about idling, accumulating raw earning power, and gambling. you start off with eight neutral facilities and more facilities have to be unlocked via the skill tree. the order in which they're unlocked is also randomized - there are 11 packs of 6-9 facilities and you get one at random when you purchase a pack unlock. it can feel bad if you're focused on annie facilities, spend a bunch of coins to unlock a pack, and end up getting a pack with all may facilities or neutral facilities that don't help your build. it's possible to just hit nothing but bad outcomes when you're spending your star coins or spend your coins inefficiently and then feel stuck because the money requirements for more star coins keep scaling up but your money production hasn't. the game tries to protect you from this by periodically resetting missions that award star coins (i thought it was a glitch at first as there seems to be no indication that these missions are supposed to reset, and saving/reloading the game seems to make the reset happen faster). but that does mean you will sometimes have to just sit through a bad time, with no meaningful actions you can take, and wait for your handout of star coins. or close the game and come back to it later. if you're looking to actively play through the game and not idle through it, there's a small risk of playing yourself into a dead end or having the game just randomly force you into idle. aside from star coins, there's also the money that your studio is earning. this money is used to upgrade your facilities, reroll their links (placing facilities so that they're linked gives you an income multiplier), and expand your grid - you start off with just a 1x1 square and have to purchase more squares. i often found myself wanting to redo my layout but also feeling like the game was discouraging me from experimenting because my grid restricts where i can place facilities and now i'd have to spend a lot of money to reroll links (the cost scales up and it's almost always a significant amount of money). i get that there should be things you need to spend money on, but i also have to wonder if the game would just be more fun if you just started with the full 7x7 grid and had cheap link rerolls. the game is rather short, but there are multiple endings depending on which girl you side with. each ending also gives you a special facility which will carry over to new game+. new game+ resets everything, unlocks more of the skill tree, and gives you a special new game+ facility (the tesseract) plus all the ending facilities you've ever earned. this is enough of a power boost to make new game+ much smoother than your first playthrough. overall i've enjoyed my time with the game. the game could use a bit more polish but i've seen the developer be very active at taking and implementing feedback, so this will probably improve in the future.
After 2 hours the combo part was done. Let it simmer 3-4 more hours without touching and the game is suddenly over.
一个有着许多不同的流派打法的增量游戏,同流派组合可以质变,虽然刷连接点有点难受,但目前体验还是挺不错的。但是英语太烂玩的很累,如果有机会的话,希望可以加上中文翻译:) This is an incremental idle game featuring numerous distinct build archetypes; combining builds from the same archetype brings transformative power spikes. Farming connection nodes can get tedious, yet overall the gameplay is enjoyable so far. That said, my limited English makes playing quite draining, so I hope official Chinese translation will be added sometime down the line:)
Pay 2 Win: The World Is Mine is entertaining for the first couple of hours, but it falls apart quickly after that. By around the 3 hour mark, the game is essentially over, with no more content left to explore. The big skill tree is probably the most disappointing part. It looks impressive on paper and gives the impression of depth and long playtime, but in practice it is just a facade. There is nowhere near as much actual content behind it as the size of the tree suggests. In short: fun start, but the game does not deliver on what it promises, and you will have seen everything long before you feel like you are actually done.
Annie best girl btw
Great incremental game with nice idea, good execution and nice story. It is something little different than standard incremental games today, but that makes it even better, it works like a charm, beautifully done.
It doesnt feel good. Its more of an afk game. I was expecting more active play.
this game is great, if you like other games like it. this would be no ones jumping off point, thats for certain. other than that, i think the humor is really good, its fun, meta, absurd, every other buzzword to describe comedy now
