About
Establish the greatest regime in history in this darkly satirical colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid. Build a prosperous totalitarian state, enforce policies, and lead your troops into first-person battles that grow from desperate skirmishes into large-scale mechanized war.
Dictate wisely. Every choice shapes society, for better or worse.
Mold your citizens through fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment or rule as a benevolent leader through comfort and prosperity.
While they work for the State, they may grow grateful, afraid, loyal, or quietly rebellious, until dissent becomes revolt.
Venture into the fractured territories of the Tyris System to gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.
Fight beside your troops in roguelite FPS battles, from hostile ships to large-scale mechanized battlefields of infantry, tanks, and mechs, spreading your doctrine and eliminating threats to humanity.
Weakened foes can be captured and dragged back to your base.
Behind prison doors, resistance can be crushed through fear, indoctrination, execution, or conversion, until an enemy becomes a citizen, a warning to would-be rebels, or another tool of the regime.
Elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords flood the battlefield with bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns.
This is war at scale, but you are not alone. Order your troops to secure victory, or use them as expendable shields to achieve your ends.

Turn a handful of survivors into a vast, tightly run, self-sustaining colony.
Assign citizens to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture weapons, armor, food, and supplies. Watch fragile shelters become the machinery of the State.
Collect roguelite cores during each expedition to grow stronger, survive longer, and push deeper into enemy territory.
Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between different core sets. Others strengthen the troops fighting beside you, or turn them into sacrificial shields for your survival.
Each run becomes a shifting war machine built around you, your squad, and the chaos you unleash together.

awesome game
First off, I must say just how addicted to this game I've been for the past week, my addiction is only breaking now due to one arguably tiny, but personally massive problem which brings me to the simple fact that this recommendation is provisional on your level of enjoyment of the game mechanic of the randomly placed time limit. Once you get beyond the first sector, some missions will occasionally and randomly have a time limit attached for no apparent reason at all. For reference, if you see bugs, you'll probably see a clock beside them. There is no in game explanation or reason for why it randomly decides to rush you and if you take too long, sometimes it bugs out and counts you as having died, sending you back to base with lost loot and others it just kicks you back to the map with no reward. Recomendation to the devs, cut the timer unless it's a survival/hold out for x amount of time situation because it doesn't feel good to get to the end of a run, get turned around, then have a big chunk of my loot stolen because I was too slow. and no, your difficulty settings don't change navigational issues of a low vision gamer making it physically take them longer to find their way. Alternatively, mark these missions on the map screen with a note and provide a voiced reminder at the start so players who don't wish to deal with timers can simply avoid these nodes completely.

Pax Autocratica mixes elements of rogue like FPS action with base building. You go on expeditions into space, fight battles with a variety of weapons, capture enemy soldiers, collect resources, and head back home. Home is a base you build yourself, placing building to sustain yourself and your people, your people consisting of all those captured soldiers. Slam'em in prison, indoctrinate them to your cause, and put them to work in the base or take them with you on further expeditions. Yes, you can take captured soldiers back out to the field of battle, with upgraded ships increasing your capacity, I was able to have a squad of 24 accompanying me. Thats not even the max, the WAARGH is real. In battle, you will get chests that can dramatically change your weapons and play style. Example, the bow is typically a precision head shotter, but, with certain upgrades, it becomes a chain lightning demon, requiring no accuracy and offering squad whipping aoe on every shot. These upgrades reset at the beginning of each new expedition and are randomized, keeping things fresh and delicious. All in all, a very satisfying experience and I am looking forward top the full release - Easy 8/10
I have both played and beaten the game in 35 hours and I absolutely love the idea of this game, but I only like the result. The battles are great and the grand battles are amazing, its really giving me some Star Wars Battlefront combined with some Borderland kind of vipes, and its a very fun experience. I really like the combat and I have no negative points to put on that. But having to pick new cores every single expedition, 2-3 times during each battle, is not really my cup of tea. I would prefer to get the cores and then pick and choose between some of them, before going into the expeditions, and then choose different rewards there instead. Base management on the other hand seems fine at the start, but the base quickly becomes very big and kind of hard to manage as a single person I think. Especially when you suddenly have 50-100 npcs and some of your best workers then starts to die of old age and you have to find new ones to replace them over and over again, while also having to manage everything else in the base and prepare for the next expeditions so you can get enough credits to pay them all and hunt for resourses to keep building and upgrading. In short, management becomes a bit of a headache. Maybe make an option to remove the aging process, for people like me so we can do that part a bit more relaxed. And also maybe there should be some way for the base to make credits, except from just the trading hall and expeditions. I know its kind of the point of the game, so I wont put too much into this, but it could be a nice addition in my opinion. I did not experience any bugs, glitches or crashes at all, during my playtime time. Its a very stable and smooth running game. Its a really fun and fully funktional game, with a lot of great ideas. It still have some way to go, but so far its very great and I highly recommend it :D
It's an okay game atm. I wouldn't buy it until a few updates but it is certainly going in the right direction.
