About
Establish the greatest regime in history in this darkly satirical colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid. Build a prosperous totalitarian state, enforce policies, and lead your troops into first-person battles that grow from desperate skirmishes into large-scale mechanized war.
Dictate wisely. Every choice shapes society, for better or worse.
Mold your citizens through fear, propaganda, surveillance, punishment or rule as a benevolent leader through comfort and prosperity.
While they work for the State, they may grow grateful, afraid, loyal, or quietly rebellious, until dissent becomes revolt.
Venture into the fractured territories of the Tyris System to gather resources, conscript new citizens, trade with wandering merchants, and feed the growth of your colony.
Fight beside your troops in roguelite FPS battles, from hostile ships to large-scale mechanized battlefields of infantry, tanks, and mechs, spreading your doctrine and eliminating threats to humanity.
Weakened foes can be captured and dragged back to your base.
Behind prison doors, resistance can be crushed through fear, indoctrination, execution, or conversion, until an enemy becomes a citizen, a warning to would-be rebels, or another tool of the regime.
Elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords flood the battlefield with bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns.
This is war at scale, but you are not alone. Order your troops to secure victory, or use them as expendable shields to achieve your ends.

Turn a handful of survivors into a vast, tightly run, self-sustaining colony.
Assign citizens to mine, gather, haul, research, and manufacture weapons, armor, food, and supplies. Watch fragile shelters become the machinery of the State.
Collect roguelite cores during each expedition to grow stronger, survive longer, and push deeper into enemy territory.
Weapon Cores reshape how your guns handle. Combination Cores create synergies between different core sets. Others strengthen the troops fighting beside you, or turn them into sacrificial shields for your survival.
Each run becomes a shifting war machine built around you, your squad, and the chaos you unleash together.

Pax Autocratica is a totalitarian colony sim and FPS roguelite hybrid that combines base building, citizen management, and first-person chaotic battlefields filled with infantry, vehicles and bullet hell. It offers a dynamic, accessible, and approachable gameplay experience for all in a sci-fi dystopian world.
It’s a game about power. How it’s built, how it corrupts, and how it consumes.
You will command armies, dictate laws, and witness consequences in every face that salutes you or fears you.

18 hours of mostly base building.... boy does the base building need help. There's no way to adjust the height of what your placing, it just auto snaps to be the same level as whatever is next to it, which is awful and sucks and makes base building a slog. Dedicate a button to adjust height of what I'm placing, simple easy fix. The Destruction and constructions are mapped weird on controller, if you double tap construct or move building buttons, it pivots to destruction, which is also a bafflingly bad design. It's even worse considering there's no pop up either, so leveled up buildings get deleted when that's not even what I pressed. Either remove the garbage double click, or add a pop up on building deletion, another basic easy fix. If it sounds to you like I was having fun with this game until adjusting my base became a nightmare, Yes. This game is better than any AAA title I've played in ages, which makes me all the more annoyed with the base buildings weird choices. This game is a thumbs up, don't get me wrong, It's Destiny meats cult of the lamb with the 'recruiting' from MGSV. I Love this game, but plz plz plz fix the base building.

Worth the play if you are into the FPS / Rouge Lite. This game has a lot to offer from a base / colony sim, the casual and hardecore experiences, and enough to keep you playing for quite sometime as i have already. Very smooth gunplay and liquid like movement you can absoultly skill on the NPC's., graphics are dope, and you the menus arn't hard to understand, the game offers the info your misisng, its sttaight forward. The Sales Envoy is abosutly halrious btw, he brought me here!!! Props to the amazing work.
ok so i played this game for a few days in my opinion for the fleet i was curious on just 3 ships i would like to see more than that considering its a command and conquer game in away like maybe the max is like 10 ish but could cause lag if im think about it also have the same ships of the same type in the fleet dont know why you have to have different ships but i mean eh not a big issue but would like to see it also maybe enemies attack the base also? instead of going off planet and do the attaacking maybe also do some defending along with it with some turrets and such that can be a good idea but thats just me and possible have it here we can move the command center? maybe its just me but im like iffy on where the command center is at or even have the ability to change planets or pick a planet you want and setup. and from what the video showed that mechs and such get hot droped in not like spawned in like to see that but other than that cant wait for the update!
this is best!
Very much a mixed bag of a game with very clear parallels to "Cult of the Lamb" in gameplay and sadly falls foul of similar short comings that CotL has. A mediocre colony management sim with below average shooter rougelight game play to break up the monotony. Its art and sound direction, while enjoyable and well polished, becomes the same sci-fi with glowy bits aesthetic that hundreds of other titles have dabbled in before and dose little to stand out among them. The biggest sin of this title however is what I would call "Not committing to the bit". The general premise is that you are part of a Hyper Militaristic Orwellian Dictatorial state and you're mission is that your bringing the sector to heal under your boot. Your 1st area is basically space pirates, and though lore fragments you can find, they are just cookie cutter Ra... Ransack & Pillage thugs. The Following areas are much the same where your playing at actually being the "Good Guys" rather than committing to the premise of being the evil authoritarian state the game is sold as. There is a missed opportunity to stand alongside evil sims such as Overlord, Dungeon Keeper & Evil Genius to name a few that has been missed. Overall found this to be somewhat underwhelming but not overpriced for what it delivers. While the attempt at blending these genres is novel, I feel as though the split in focus has left both elements of gameplay weaker then other, similarly priced options that are on the market that have a single focus. Would rather give this a neutral rating but given the binary choice, I would recommend choosing a title that dose one genre well, over one that dabbles too losely in many.
Good game. At time of review I've cleared all zones at standard difficulty with aging turned off. One massive downside is repeatedly opening and closing the game without restarting my computer progressively lags the game each time going from a stable framerate to a powerpoint presentation. I wonder if the game is improperly closing on my end or not but it's something worth looking into. Otherwise all gameplay mechanics work well and I'm looking forward to further content releases and whenever modding support gets added in.
The bones are good, but it needs some polish. The card/perk system could use some tweaking. I'd like to be able to build a deck, and some perks I just never got. The base building and management is frustrating because it's good, but not great. You can't make the base level and you have a ton of things to place. Aligning things is terrible because you can't adjust your headquarters at all, so everything has to be placed in relation to that. The soldier management also has some work to be done. I just played standard and never really saw any consequences from fear maxing. I look forward to where it goes!
