About
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.
Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.
Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.
Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!
A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.
You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.
Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous fantasy path toward becoming a living Legend.

It is a perfect game in so many ways. Really recommend it. What I DO hold against it is its unforgiveness: if you miss a small detail of a (seemingly insignificant quest) it punishes you, and not right away, but at the end. So you need to spend 100+ hours to find out if you have missed something to have your expected ending. Not cool, OwnCat! I would like a bit more forgiveness or at least some warning regarding the important/key stuff during the game. Other than this, the game is literally perfect. Keep up the good work.
What I love is the nostalgic feel of the game. It brings me back to a time when games were simpler in their functioning and highly engaging in their storytelling. The game feels plenty rewarding and the abundance of quests helps immerse me in this wonderful world full of exciting surprises. What I did not love include minor things. Mostly cosmetic things, like I really do not like almost any of the character portraits. And I strongly dislike every single one of the physical looks of the characters in the game. The pictures are one thing, but the characters themselves look kind of creepy and surreal. I don't like that. On a scale of 1-10, I give them a solid 5 for the character appearances. Not so bad that I'm turned off from the game but not good enough to make me fall in love with anyone but a RARE few. I also wish you had a difficulty level warning of some kind because some places are indeed much harder than others if you're playing on advanced difficulty thresholds, and with the open world aspect, you are bound to go waltzing in to a punishing area without knowing it. I'm actually back and forth on that option because the surprise is indeed a surprise. Sometimes a warning may be warranted. Additionally, when creating your character, the absolute plethora of class options is a little chaotic for me. I feel like you missed an opportunity to create a much more elaborate level up ladder system that could have felt much more rewarding. (Fighter becomes ... becomes ... becomes ...) But instead, it feels like I have to do some research on every single class option and then map them myself to whatever I want to accomplish...Being new to the game, I don't exactly know what I want and I'd like my options to remain open based on my gameplay. It feels like I don't have that option as much at the get-go because of the class clutter. Don't get me wrong, I love the vast array of possible options, but it very much feels like I better be specific in what I want from the start or I'll miss out on an advanced tier. I hope I am explaining that well enough. It just feels cluttered and confusing. Suffice it to say, there is a whole lot going on with this game, and if you are willing to sit down, take your time, read, and progress patiently then it is a fantastic game! 4/5 stars for me, which is quite good. Highly recommend.
Long live the silver dragon!

after years of owning the game and several times getting turned off by the sheer amount of options, I finally pushed through and damn was it worth it. Excellent story with tons of content, enormous amount of build variety and lots of fun and challenging gameplay scenarios to engage with
What can I say that hasn't already been said? This crpg giant has the largest build diversity of any game I have ever played, more than that, the builds genuinely feel different to play. Its not like Elden Ring, where you swap from one damage stick to another, and all the spells are samey, not that I don't love that game, but you probably get my point. When you play as a monk, you feel like a monk, and when you play as a wizard, you can feel the power of your spells. Even inside each class, there are a multitude of archetypes for you to choose from. You can multiclass to your hearts content, generally, there are some exceptions, and almost all of the classes feel intentional. Moreover, all of the characters, even the one's that aren't companions, feel like they lived truly complex lives, Irabeth especially has one of my favorite character moments in the entire game. I haven't beat this game yet, as you could probably tell from my rant I love messing around with different builds, so the farthest I have ever gotten is near the beginning of act 4, and my current run just made it to act 3. People who have played PF: WOTR before might notice that I haven't mentioned one of the best aspects of this game, mythic paths, which are added on top of your pre-existing builds. That is because you don't truly see them till act 3, and I have two playthroughs currently at the very beginning of the act, and my one in act 4, which took Trickster, skipped a lot of the fun shenanigans you can do with that path. Thus, I hardly consider myself the person to talk to about that feature that I know to be amazing because I watch a lot of guides. The singular problem that I have with this game is the reliance on dice rolls for basic things, some locations on the map won't be revealed if you don't roll high enough on your perception check, and honestly, save-scumming just feels bad. Also, I didn't really suffer from this, but it can be overwhelming, I recommend playing BG3 and/or DOS 2 beforehand, or just any simpler crpg. P.S. Arushalae, Ember, and Nenio are all best girl, and you won't be able to convince me otherwise. P.S. P.S. Lann, Regill, and Woljif are all best boy, and you won't be able to convince me otherwise, just don't tell Regill I said anything lol. P.S P.S. P.S. Sorry this rant was so long, go buy the game.
