About
Your path will lead you to the Worldwound, where the opening of a rift to the Abyss has unleashed all-consuming terror across the land. For over a century, the neighboring nations have fought fearlessly, trying to drive the enemy back — but to little avail.
Now, you have the chance to put an end to this conflict, but the path to salvation is far from clear-cut. Will you become a shining angel, backed by noble paladins? Or a powerful necromancer with hordes of immortal undead in your thrall? Or something else entirely? Lead your army and challenge mighty demon lords. Your crusade will set in motion a chain of events that will leave you — and the world itself — forever changed.
Create any character imaginable with the flexibility, richness, and depth of the Pathfinder First Edition ruleset. Choose from 25 classes, 12 character races, and more than a thousand spells, feats, and abilities to suit your personal playstyle.
Your decisions have more weight than ever before. Your goal is clear, but you must forge your own path to it. Who will die, and who will live? Who will stay, and who will go? Make your choices, and watch the world around you change.
Enjoy two combat modes as you slay your enemies – real-time with pause or turn-based. Switch between them on the fly, so you can always take things as slowly — or as quickly — as you like. The unique Pathfinder ruleset also allows you to perform advanced combat maneuvers, like mounted combat. Use them wisely!
A cast of more than 10 unique companions is ready to join your cause. Earn their trust and respect, and they will have your back no matter what dangers lie ahead. And if you get on their bad side, well… Maybe it’s time to part ways.
You will need much more than a party of adventurers to cleanse the land of its demonic scourge. Take command of the crusaders and lead them to victory – both as a strategist, controlling the battle from above, and as a field commander, in a new tactical combat mode.
Explore nine unique Mythic Paths: obtain extraordinary abilities and shape everything that comes next. Your decisions might transform you into a celestial Angel, a raging Demon, a powerful Lich, a cunning Trickster, an otherworldly Aeon, a rebellious Azata, a wise Gold Dragon, an insatiable Swarm That Walks — or remain mortal and walk the arduous fantasy path toward becoming a living Legend.

On the heels of 200 hours, act 2 and trying to play without guides I was stuck. Started looking around and found I ran into a game braking bug. Couldn't advance the plot of the game because one of the brick fortresses was blocking the Laughing Caves. I needed to start playing the Crusade part of the game which I was putting off. Read about how to do this and I noticed that the banners at the top of the map were gone, other buttons I've read about were not present as well. Spent about an hour revisiting places and I couldn't find any where to recruit soldiers. Checked for file corruption through properties, no fix. I look for this kind problem in the negative reviews here to avoid this. Didn't see it at purchase. That's why you're reading this.
There Is some Major problems, One You cannot play wizard there Is 3 steps, spell resistance, saving throw and damage reduction. So basically Is useless playing a wizard. Second the Map the managing and the third act Is too much filler Is quite Boring. 4th i was abile tò arrive armor class 28 With the Warriors and according tò the online guides Is not enough i Need to arrive minimum 40 but how? I visited all the shoppers and there Is nothing more powerfull if i try to give a buff the game Say Is not possible because You are doubling the effects of an object so I really not understanding This game. Maybe i Will put the game in extra Easy finishing the game. And forgetting about that
this is my favorite crpg of all time
If you like specifically powergaming in pf1e, searching builds on google or enjoy playing games on the easiest difficulty, this is your game. Otherwise, i don't recommend it, the game is clearly designed for people that know the system very well (and only them). There is an option to design the difficulty yourself so the designers don't have to think too much, but we can agree that is barely a selling point. The characters were neat though. Nothing incredible but at least enjoyable.
Owlcat makes great TTRPG ports. I used this and Kingmaker to bridge the gaps between real life games of Pathfinder. I hope some day we get a 3rd campaign to play, perhaps Legacy of Fire as it would be thematically new.
Does it feel unpolished? Sometimes. Did I overthink most choices because it clearly felt like they would have mattered? Absolutely. Was I already thinking about future playthroughs after a couple of hours into it, just to try different things? Also yes. Given how rare it is to find something like this these days, and if you are looking for a BG-like game with a reasonable amount of text (because you do not have the strenght to read A LOT, LIKE A LOT of dialogue playing something like Tiranny or Pillars of Eternity) honestly look no further.
Maravilla de juego apenas mi primera run quedan mas para descubrir y exprimir todo lo que ofrece golarion
one of the greatest RPGs i've ever played tbh. i might have some hormonal issues atm, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ has this game and its characters made me cry a river. Especially a certain succubus (Arueshalae) i wont spoil anything. But the characters in this game are amazing. The story is great. i am normally not a fan of turnbased combat, but fortunately this game does allow for "auto" combat and turnbased for more strategic plays. the biggest downside to the game is the loading screens. There's millions of them. Playing on any difficulity higher than normal means that you're almost guranteed to be forced into every random encounter when exploring. And everytime that happens you have to go through 2 loading screens, usually for a combat that last a few seconds, meaning you spend more time loading than playing. Even with high stealth this happens. its also especially bad when managing the crusade, having to manage building captures forts means even more loading screens. Everytime you attack a enemy army and its more loading screens. i really hope owlcat will pickup pathfinder again, and refine some of these elements. City building/management should be put into one section so that i dont have to load every city individually. etc. but other than that, the game have an amazing cast of characters, and a huge amount of player choices, not to mention a plethora of customization for your own Knight Commander. can HIGHLY recommend this game. I came in with next to no knowledge of pathfinder and i didn't feel isolated, they did a good job making it "newbie" friendly. i also wanna thank the people responsible for Arueshalae's writing and her voice actor, you made me cry alot of happy and sad tears. Its rare to find such a great character. Maybe Desna has cursed/blessed me but i find myself dreaming about my KC and her in real life now. (cringe i know) but that is the impact she made on me. (probably because my estrogen levels are imbalanced atm but still!)
Fun. Another turn-based D&D like RPG. Pathfinderr rules, but plays a bit like Balders Gate 3 or Solasta. I enjoyed it
