Paranormal Pursuit: The Gifted One Collector's Edition

I quite enjoyed this game. A childcare worker senses all is not well at a home. A little boy is locked away by his stepfather because of his psychic abilities. It is part of an evil plan by a politician. You are on the run with the boy to avoid the politicians henchmen catching you as you delve into the child's background. What you find horrifies you. The storyline sounds over the top, but it is so well executed that it is believable. Graphics are crisp and sharp. Voiceovers are good and so is the music. It is a gripping story with an extra chapter. HO scenes are shadow items which you use to interact with other objects in the scene. Puzzles are on the easy side, but are varied. My only gripe is that I couldn't go fullscreen in this game as the picture was tearing all the time. Yes, I did adjust vsync to no avail. Someone suggested a free program which helped a lot. It took me 5 enjoyable hours to play, but buy on sale. Hope they make a sequel. 8/10.

Although an older game, this one is gripping, with good voice overs and the best adventure style. The occasional hog scenes are the kind where one finds something and uses it to make another thing work..(my fav) Plus the item are NOT junkpile or thoughtless; In fact MUCH thought went into the game, and it shows.... highly recommeded...

I really enjoyed playing this game. The Graphics are great. The Storyline is good. The Puzzles have a good difficulty to them. The only thing i didnt like was near the end of the game, you need a "Compass" make sure you are not on fullscreen whilst looking for this item. Otherwise the item is impossible to get.

this is a wonderful hidden object adventure game that does everything right. i had no single problem with it or thought something could be done better. in this regard this is a rare gem. no wonder about the the exclusively positive reviews.

It's alright. The ingame achievements aren't synced with Steam.

Older game. Lots to do. It is a good rainy afternoon game.

This is actually a pretty fun HOG. The HOG scenes are more of the interactive variety then the usual just click on the listed items. The one thing I do have to say. You will have a helper. Without spoiling anything the helper will usually help you with stuff you would just need an object for. Like moving something or getting something from a distance. So long as you remember the helper you should be fine. Also the helper will sometimes change so be aware of that. Game also comes with a bonus chapter which is always nice. I recommend.
