Paranormal Detective: Escape from the 90's

After playing the prequel, my expectations have been high. So while it's still a good game on it's own, it left me with a bit of disappointment. On the good side, the location is much bigger and it took us longer to complete the game. However, the main room is quite dark and most of the elements are not interactive, at least at the beginning of the game. So it became part of the challenge to search the room for small objects, which are hard to spot. The focus of the game is a bit more on playing arcade games, which are very well implemented and which still spark some joy after solving the game.

Another fun, but extremely short, experience. I really hoped this sequel would build upon and expand on what made the first game so great, but It's basically the same if not worse. I beat the game in under an hour and a half, which falls short of the 2 hour minimum and being a $12 game, that's pretty sad. I can tell the devs had fun, but being shorter and not really an improvement, ruined it for me. Of you can grab it for under $5 then go for it.
