Now, the denizens of Terminus must uncover the mysteries of their past and unlock the silenced power of their gods. For war will come again. And this time the dragons won’t be there to save you.

Extremely cosy. Never played EQ or any of the older MMO's pre-WoW but this feels great, progression and combat feels good, zones and art as well.

Not having a map is more punishing that the xp loss or ITEMS DROP in death . Not having the map then makes the finding of the corpse Extrreemly hard . i love the vibe of the game but not a reason to be so hard .... you have to be costant aware to where you are .... witch without a map is a full time job and i have one :)
OG MMORPG Dedicated team , listens to their player base. Friendly good player vibe
It looks like this game is going to try to bridge the gap between WoW and old school EQ. It's not doing a bad job of it. Worth a try.
Devs favor specific groups / people and will ban / suspend accounts of players that compete with these favored individuals in open world content without notice nor reprieve nor sustenance. AKA 2 guilds compete to kill an open world mob on a 3 hr spawn timer. 1 guild is favored by the devs, the other is not. The guild that is not favored comes out on top in the competition. The guild that is not favored gets their accounts locked while the devs "look into allegations". Game is ran by private server admins.
I will play again when map will be available at lease like EQ a drawing map that you unlock by discovering place. That is the only bad point i can say about this game.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME
I am sorry, but this game should NOT have been released for monetary value... This is barely even a game ffs. I honestly thought some of the reviews were just being a bit harsh, until I logged into my first character and realized... OH MY F*CKING GOD... Only 200 people playing at the time of writing this review, and I quickly found out why... First; Your "starting skills" are in your damn inventory... Didn't even know this, and I was running around like an idiot, not knowing what to do or how to do anything. There are zero starting quests, you start in a cave and have to find your way out (mind you I only learned all of this because someone was nice enough to stop what they were doing and come help me), and then you are met with mobs that are 5 levels above you and practically one shot you... There's "We don't want to hold your hand and let you find your way", and then there's "We don't know what we're doing, so we hope you figure it out" lol... And to the 6 people that were absolutely GLAZING the dev's in my server chat.... Get help lol Second; There are quests in the game, but there is no indicator or anything on who has what lol... So you're just mindlessly clicking on NPCs hoping they have a quest or something for you. Literally EVERY MMO IN HISTORY HAS QUEST INDICATORS!!! WHERE ARE THEY?!?! Who released this? Seriously, who tf thought this was playable? This isn't even f*cking Early Access, this is a first phase alpha bulletin board "I have an idea!" project that shouldn't even be on this platform yet. Y'all made Scam Citizen look like an officially released game with this bare bones nothing burger. Refunded! TL;DR: Save your money, and I know this review sounds harsh, but that's only because I am so sick of developers thinking they can sell a game at full (or almost full) price for an "idea" of a game... And after New World and Throne of Liberty and so many countless MMO flops lately... I'm just f*cking tired at this point and have zero empathy for half-baked garbage, under the guise of "Early Access". I am coming from the classic bangers of the early 2000's... I never played EQ, but Vanguard: Sega of Heros... Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning... Guild Wars 2.... Elder Scrolls Online.. New World before Amazon killed it.. I will keep an eye out on this game, but it's not worth my money. You got a lot of work to do.
My wife and I play this together. While you can solo to some extent, it is a lot more fun with friends. The crafting is nice as far as food/drink, bags and boxes for the bank slots. There are still a lot of things that need improvements before the game is released, but I still enjoy it as is, and look forward to more features as it is developed.
Cannot recommend this game. You cannot play this game solo and achieve really anything at all, it forces you to play with a group but the game is dead. Was actually a fun game for a while but if you need to find a group to do skeletons or goblins at low level you're basically SOL. Some classes are a bit better than others for doing some solo content but that kind of makes the rest of the classes completely useless since they're extremely party oriented like the enchanter. Hope the game recovers but I don't think it ever will. It's been in development for 10 years and they have made such small progress in that time that I wouldn't wait for any meaningful updates for years at a a time. There is no way to customize your build at all, they have a mastery system for skills but no date to when that's even coming out.. Therefore if you pick a Paladin then you're just like every other paladin out there. There is no variety in building your character and it makes progression feel very flat. If you do end up finding a group then I hope you have a couple hours to waste to get one level if you're lucky. It takes about 30 seconds to 1 minute to kill 1 mob and you need to kill A LOT to level up. Game is unfortunately just a big waste of time at this point and you should save yourself the money and time and just stay away. :(
