Хорошая игра !
great game
Pangea Survival is still an early access game, however, its very bare bones much like Isle and the original Beasts of Bermuda. However, unlike Isle, the game is poorly optimized, needs to work on it's graphics, and lacks the fluidity to make community servers. That being said, the single player option is actually enjoyable since the Ai creatures have basic behaviors, they attack and socialize with each other, they vocalize, and they attack you and even retreat when they take too much damage. However, the AI deature is the ONLY thing going for it.
Pangea Survival is one of those independent projects that immediately earns attention through the strength of its premise. Developed and published by Pangea Survival Development Team, the game drops players into a massive prehistoric setting where dinosaurs roam freely across a network of islands. Instead of focusing exclusively on human survival or creature simulation, it attempts to combine both ideas into a single package. Players can either become one of dozens of dinosaur species struggling to survive in the wild or step into the boots of a mercenary tasked with exploring, scavenging, and hunting dangerous prehistoric creatures. It is a concept filled with possibilities, and the game's ambition remains its most admirable quality. The world itself does an excellent job of selling the fantasy. The islands feature an assortment of environments that keep exploration interesting, including dense jungles, towering redwood forests, deserts, open plains, and coastal regions. Every biome feels designed to support different wildlife and encourage players to venture beyond familiar territory. Scattered across these landscapes are traces of human activity, including abandoned structures and forgotten installations that suggest a history of failed attempts to tame the environment. The result is a setting that feels larger than the player, reinforcing the idea that humanity is merely another species trying to survive in a hostile ecosystem. Playing as a dinosaur is arguably where Pangea Survival shines brightest. The game offers an impressive roster of prehistoric creatures, each occupying a different role within the food chain. Herbivores spend their time grazing and avoiding danger, while carnivores actively hunt and defend their territory. Managing hunger and thirst adds a layer of tension to every journey, especially when venturing into unfamiliar territory where larger predators may be lurking nearby. There is a simple but effective satisfaction in surviving another day as a creature that existed millions of years ago, and the game captures that feeling surprisingly well despite its limitations. Human gameplay provides a different rhythm. Mercenaries are encouraged to take contracts, collect resources, and improve their arsenal through earned rewards. Hunting dinosaurs becomes both a source of income and a significant risk, as even well-equipped players can quickly become overwhelmed. This contrast between vulnerable humans and powerful prehistoric beasts gives the game a unique identity. Switching between perspectives also helps prevent the experience from becoming repetitive, offering players multiple ways to engage with the same world. Unfortunately, Pangea Survival struggles to fully realize its ideas. Combat can feel unpolished, animations are occasionally stiff, and some systems lack the depth expected from modern survival games. Performance and optimization are inconsistent, and artificial intelligence can produce uneven results during encounters. There are moments when the world feels alive and dynamic, followed by stretches where players may find themselves wandering long distances with little meaningful interaction. These issues do not completely undermine the experience, but they do prevent it from reaching the level of quality its premise deserves. Even so, the game remains an interesting example of what a passionate independent team can accomplish with limited resources. Its community has long recognized both its strengths and weaknesses, praising the scale of its vision while expressing concerns about development progress and unfinished features. Pangea Survival may not appeal to players seeking a polished blockbuster survival title, but those who enjoy niche sandbox experiences and have a particular fondness for dinosaurs will likely discover moments worth remembering. In the end, Pangea Survival succeeds less as a finished product and more as a compelling experiment. It offers an expansive prehistoric playground filled with ambition, variety, and occasional flashes of brilliance. While technical shortcomings and a lack of refinement hold it back, the opportunity to survive as either hunter or hunted remains an enticing proposition that few games attempt on this scale. Rating: 6/10
English: It is a game with a lot of potential. The graphics are good, but it is not prepared for UHD resolution. It has two very large maps, one of which (Pangea Major) even has several biomes. It has a large number of species, but with the 2.0 update, they significantly reduced the playable species but improved the animations and controls. The AI is good, but it needs to refine some aspects to interact better with the player.
