Pajama Sam 4: Life Is Rough When You Lose Your Stuff!

By far the worst of the Pajama Sam games but it isn't as bad as the reviews make it out to be. The game is choppy and overall runs worse then previous games, the world created in this game doesn't feel as alive as in the previous 3 games with there being far fewer npcs and less engaging puzzles. Still, the game is $7 at full price and a few dollars cheaper when it's on sale, and it still holds up as a decent point and click game. I think people were just disappointed from expecting a game as good as the first 3 that also felt the exact same as how they did, personally I don't understand this opinion too well since I liked the new VA for Sam and thought they did a good job even though its quite different, and I had more fun playing this game then the 3rd game despite it being an overall worse game critically. This game is hardly bad enough to warrant a 'mixed' review score, but I understand that it's not the game a lot of people were hoping it was.

He needs that comic to get signed by "Pajama Man" at a mall meet-n-greet. Kind of disappointing that the imagination portal was just a messy clothes pile and not like another point in the house, maybe the laundry room. Puzzles weren't that hard this time around. I kept getting annoyed when Sam describes his comic book as "mint" condition, he didn't even have it in a plastic sleeve until his hands were all grimmy and then he touches it, sir that comic is in good condition at best. They changed the voice of Sam, and really the whole voice acting sounded off. I do not like his new voice. Drunk me and my babysitters had a good time with it overall. I do agree with people about a number of issues with this game, such as the voice acting, poor lip syncing, linear gameplay, and lack of returning characters from the previous games. However, I recommend the game, because it still has challenging puzzles and catchy music, even though it's not in the style of previous Humongous Entertainment games. The option to play the game's minigames on the game's menu is also a plus, because you can play them anytime you feel like it (the Debris Game reminds me of Bejeweled)! Overall, this is an OK game and I do play it occasionally.

i love this game it may be challenging but it is fun

If your a fan of pajama sam its probably better to skip this one. The entire game feels like a cheap flash game that you wouldlve seen on new ground back in the day. The puzzles feel almost dumbed down and made more simple, the world lacks a lot of the fun quirks and jokes that made the other entertaining, and the voice acting sounds like there was no direction as some sound just boring and others sound like theyu are just weird. The animation in this game also feels completely different, the characters seem more stiff, mouth movement appears to be laggy or just weird, and it feels like they tried making many normal interactions in weird cutscenes that werent apparent in previous Humongous games. Its sad that this is how the nostalgic games died out, with what feels like a quick contractual obligation with little to no soul to it.
