PAGAN PEAK VR

Loved the Kobold game, love Pagan Peak VR too. I didn't think I'd like an escape room. While I was sometimes frustrated with some of the puzzles (thinking too far on one of them). It was a very good and suspenseful game. I did start on normal mode, thinking maybe I should have went with easy, but after 1 game over (it can happen) I decided to stick with normal mode (I was gonna beat it damnit!). Which I did. Well worth its money!

Однозначно потрібно мати непогані знання англійського, щоб зрозуміти що відбувається і що робити. Але головна проблема в мене була не з мовою, а з запуском на Meta Quest 3. Гра спочатку не хотіла бачити джойстики, потім видавала помилку і врешті решт таки вдалось запустити її в режимі сумісності з Окулус. Якби можна було поставити оцінку між "Так" і "Ні", то напевно ото б таку і поставив. Щось по середині... І рекомендувати так прям не дуже хочеться, але й хейтити теж нема за що.

This game crashed for me after less than an hour of playing. Not a deal-breaker for me, crashes happen. However, I could not find it in me to start the game up again. There were a few good, creepy moments, and the environment was spooky and interesting to explore (though quite muddy and low-poly), but there's nothing particularly compelling about the story or setting that you can't find elsewhere, done better. I feel like there was some care put into this game, and some of the puzzles were enjoyable, but if I don't have the motivation to relaunch a game after a crash, I can't exactly recommend it. If you just want a creepy environment to explore for a bit, get it on sale. Expect wonky graphics, possible crashes, and a hamfisted environmental message.

Terrifying in all the good ways! The game keeps you on your toes, you fear something will happen after every action, the timed aspect of some parts add to the tension as well and makes it an all round exciting experience. As a lover of escape games and indie horror, I definitely can recommend it!

VR escape room. Fun but no reply

Bought it on sale and thought it was well worth the price. It's about an hour long. The atmosphere is great, so if you're the kind of person that appreciates how much atmosphere can impact VR games, I think you'll like this game. The controls work well (played on valve index). Overall, I felt like it was a fun experience and a nice way to spend an hour. I'm not generally a fan of "escape rooms" and probably wouldn't have bought this game if someone had described it that way. Yes, it's an "escape room" but there's a story and an atmosphere, good environment, animations, etc. It's more than just "solve these puzzles to win".

This is such an amazing and immensely underrated VR experience. The puzzles are pretty good, but the horror is great. It's so tense and atmospheric. Builds very well and really gives you chills down your spine. I absolutely urge anyone who likes creepy horror things to try this game. I'll mark this as spoiler in case anyone else wanna go into this completely blind like I did [spoiler] This first point isn't the biggest spoiler, but I know this would've changed how I approached the game anyways if I knew this. There aren't any jumpscares in this game. At no point will there be a sudden loud noise and something jumping at you. It's all just creep factor and the anticipation of something suddenly happening. The last section of the game where you actually make it out of the house and into the woods gave me such a feeling of dread and anxiety that I haven't felt in a horror game in a very, very long time. Игра красивая, хорошо оптимизированная, с неплохими головоломками, давящей атмосферой и интересными локациями. Единственный недостаток - короткая как смерть. Из 2,5 часов, которые я наиграл, добрый час я потратил на затуп с решением загадки "who am i". В целом легко проходится за час. С другой стороны - не жалко отдать за час-два качественного VR escape-рума денежный эквивалент гамбургера в Вкусно и точка

My real play time is not shown because I have to play all of my vr games with no internet. Anyway, this is a good game, escape room horror. It looks and runs great on my Quest 2 with airlink. I really like the trapped in a cabin scenario. I hope we get more of this type of game.
