As someone already mentioned... the fps is low (I am on a 1080TI with no SS applied), for me it's hovering just under 60 fps... you cannot release a game like this... my hands are stuttering all over the place.... And why do I need a minimum place space when you have both turning and artificial locomotion in the game?! finally, have a way to go to the menu please... you can't even make a custom binding for it...

I don't know what to say. Please just play this if you like goosebumps. --- NO JUMPSCARES --- It is amazingly rich in terms of atmosphere and storytelling.

As far as Escape the Room games go, this is one of my favorites; very well done, great atmosphere, a decent story, two different endings and logical puzzles, not too hard but not too easy either. It took me two hours to finish it. For someone very experienced in this type of game it could be much shorter, about one hour but it's totally worth it. One thing that surprised me is that you don't necessarily need to solve all the riddles to finish the game. I left a box unopened in the first room and I could still make it til the end. PROS: - Great graphics and atmosphere - There is a little story being told which is a nice touch - More cinematographic than your usual escape room games - Good puzzles - Great production values CONS: - You can't change the settings while in-game - You cannot skip the intro if you die - No subtittles or other languages but English Overall a very cool game, a bit expensive compared to other similar games but totally worth it IMO.

It even has a good story. If you're expecting Kobold Chapter 2 then you'll be disappointed because this game is more of a traditional puzzle escape room. Whole thing should take on average about 1 hour. There are 3 rooms to solve, although the last location is very basic. The puzzles are quite enjoyable to solve because they can be figured out through simple, but careful observation. There are no obtuse puzzles. So if you struggle with puzzle games, this might be an approachable one, even for beginners. Puzzle experts though may find the puzzles here a little too easy to solve and may be able to breeze through the game in about 20-30 minutes. The locations are detailed and look very good. There is full locomotion and 3 different turn options, although I believe the snap turning option is the best in this game. You can play mostly seated, although one object may be hard to reach because it is high so you may need to stand up for that. I really liked the atmosphere. I enjoyed the puzzles. However, this game does have some serious faults. As other reviewers have mentioned, the game isn't the best optimized. I was getting about 45 frames per second on my 1060 GTX with the graphics set to high. There was stuttering on my avatar hands with some objects (but not for others). However, the biggest negative, in my opinion, was the last 1/3 of the game. Rather than having puzzles like the first two rooms, there is simply a choice to be made. Pick one and you get a good ending. Pick the other and you get the bad ending. There is no replayability. Once you know the solution to the final puzzle in the room, you can go straight to that and skip the rest of the puzzles in that room. The good part of that is that you can quickly get to the alternate ending, although, you cannot skip the early cinematic portions at the start of the game. There are loading screens as well. [b]Rate 7/10. This is a good developer and should get our support (because I want Kobold Chapter 2!). This is one of the highest production values for an escape room currently available in VR. However, I hope game gets patched to address the issues mentioned.[/b]

Played on full Index kit, 2080ti/9900k/32GB Great game. The horror aspects don't get in the way of the puzzle solving. Graphics looked good and the sound really added to the atmosphere. This is the best horror themed escape room Ive played so far. Great job devs!

Loved the Kobold game, love Pagan Peak VR too. I didn't think I'd like an escape room. While I was sometimes frustrated with some of the puzzles (thinking too far on one of them). It was a very good and suspenseful game. I did start on normal mode, thinking maybe I should have went with easy, but after 1 game over (it can happen) I decided to stick with normal mode (I was gonna beat it damnit!). Which I did. Well worth its money!

This is an easy game with puzzle solutions everywhere in-game. Exit the house and follow the footsteps in the snow. I have made speedrun videos on my YouTube Channel. (with an example of a good and a bad ending). It had some creepy parts to it (people at the window). It's worth the VR experience. You should definitely try the game.

tbh i played it 3 times and i had fun all the time worth it

This game is so jittery, and you have to exit to get back to the menu to change the graphics settings. Even when I lowered the graphics settings, it ran so poorly that the game was barely playable. Even worse, all of this pain led to a painfully short game with only a couple decent scares and maybe 3 or 4 puzzles that I solved while high in no time flat. TL;DR short, too easy, and poorly optimized

Such a chilling experience... It is a fairly short game but the price is right. You definitely should try it if you are into escape room genre. Performance wasn't great but it didin't bother me since it is a short game.
