This game was promising but slowly devolved into wasted potentional.
This game was, until it was labeled "complete," something special. It is very much a textbook example of the negative sides of Early Access.
I recommend this on sale. I'm a late comer to this game, the start felt a little clunky, but as I acclimated to it, I started to enjoy the game play and mechanics. That said... The game itself, despite an in-game encyclopedia that does offer some help, it's still easy to get lost on some things. There is a good steam guide for dummies up here, that could prove helpful. If you are someone who relies on googling for info, you won't find much and less likely to find what you are specifically looking for. The map is pretty basic, without any labels, so it takes a minute to figure out how to get to the different districts. The game gives you some tasks that you might think are important for later, that really barely come into play except for 1 mission. I spent some time overcompensating for that (on powering the city beyond what the mission needed). There is some very basic base building. I ended up fighting the end game boss, although I mistakenly thought at the time, it was a mini-boss. Until the credits rolled. I wish there was more to it, It's a light recommend (if on sale). 60%-to 70% off at least. Then worth a play.
I don't recommend this. I really wanted to honestly, it had a good premise but they just kinda abandoned it...

Almost great immersive sim but unfortunately not finished. Cannot complete the main story because progression depends on random loot items that never spawn.
Alright, i've owned this sucker for years... Played it maybe 3 or 4 times, took me absolutely zero time to finish it. Storyline - mid at best Gameplay in general - Absolute trash at the state it's in, and it's practically abandoned atm. I don't usually leave negative reviews or try to, but by god I tried playing this thing 3 years later again, and just no. Not even worth it if it was 100% off on sale. Save your life essence, go play Rust or Borderlands, or heck even the game Nothing.
Its been out for years and it crashes. I don't have ancient or new hardware, it should be balanced well for my machine. Basically everything here makes a game but it lacks proper unveiling and tiered implementation. The game rest on rogue lite playstyle so you can learn without being taught. That's how it feels anyways. It feels unrefined. Graphically some lights and textures aren't visible through transparent materials.
