Хорошая игра, но Джакек читерит
Do not buy this game its a barren snoozefest that offers nothing to you. Combat is clunky and jank the story is not even there to maybe at least care about that idk theres nothing redeeming about this game. You're supposed to prepare a bunch for your "expeditions" and its just boring simple as that nobody wants 30 things you need to micromanage just to stay alive either and if you die well thats it go back and get your items and if you fail then welp cya thats it all of its gone. The game punishes exploration and you arent rewarded ever at like any point in the game for any effort you put in. Lmao you can beat a entire dungeon and expend hella resources that you had to grind out and bring just to get worse items then what you brought in. idk the game is so empty, doesnt even look good, you get punished for exploring or just playing the game, and is barely even a survial/rpg. Best way to describe it is a game that feels like a early access demo lol. Oh and the game is only 2 players so if u have a third like how I did well sucks to suck you and ur buddies have to launch mod loaders to even play together.
I almost never leave reviews good or bad. This one is bad. Absolute waste of time effort learning and money. Be ready to work confused for hours to play the actual game for minutes at a time if you are lucky. The mechanics are never the same on death. you are led to believe you recover your things on death and you just lose time and have to travel across the map. Later you lose everything you worked for. Nothing is consistent. Nothings ever the same. This game has no consistency and the punishment is random unpredictable. All in all there is no fun to be had here only a waste of time and money effort and no amount of playing the game will ever return your investment.... even if it was free
Outward, released in 2019, feels like a game from early 2000's. I'm not an old school games fan. And the guy who designed how to change the fps limit option is a psycho.
Tried so hard to like this game but the whole game is rutterless, explains nothing and is needlessly mean.
Okay, so, basically the combat mechanics just aren't fun solo, but the quest system isn't designed for co-op play. If someone is partnering up with you they get no quest progress ever, no matter what. Kindof like Dark Souls except with a larger time investment. So only get this if you want to wander around large environments and delve into caves and such without caring if you die suddenly after making one or two mistakes. It helps that dying doesn't do a whole lot unless you're in the middle of a time-sensitive quest; in most cases you just get teleported somewhere in a wounded state and you lose some time. The amount of time lost can range from a few hours to a few *days*, so that could be an issue. The reason the combat mechanics aren't fun is because enemy attack patterns don't have large gaps in them and the stun bar needs to be half empty before you can interrupt their attacks, so you're usually only getting one hit in after they make their attack strings. If you're geared for it you can stunlock enemies but in most cases you cannot. So you wind up spending most of your time in combat blocking or evading etc waiting for them to attack so you can get one hit in before returning to defense. It's boring to fight that way, and it can take a very long time since enemies passively regenerate. If you try to be more aggressive then they get to hit you as you hit them and you die in like 4 hits. Wearing better armor doesn't matter much, you're still gonna die if you get hit, and the gradual progression of gaining better armor only keeps pace with enemies' getting progressively stronger in later zones! Heavy armor isn't actually that much more protective than medium armor, either. Maybe you can take one extra hit. So to fight solo you need to either fight very defensively, specialize in stun, use ranged attacks to avoid fighting in melee at all, or go full offense with magic or damage buff stacking... but unless you look up a guide you won't know to do any of that until like 50 hours in or something. At best you could see that maces do good Impact damage and cause Confusion which increases Impact damage so they're a good choice for stun... but then why do any other melee weapon types exist?! Also like, half of the advice I see from various places are instructions on how to loot high end equipment without having to fight things. That means the game just isn't balanced properly and trying to play with progression-appropriate gear is a newbie mistake!
The game is expressly ugly, so if you want good visuals, look elsewhere. I'm normally not bothered by graphics but this game just genuinely is bad to look at. Combat is uninspired and clunky feeling. Losing combat (which is easy) doesn't result in a game-over or reset you to a checkpoint, instead it throws some storytelling textboxes at you and you wake up somewhere else, usually in some kind of dungeon of the enemy you were fighting, and usually with parts of your gear missing. Me and my friend who I was playing co-op with got beaten up by bandits (who were just randomly spawning out of nowhere almost directly on top of us) and woke up in their mining prison with none of our stuff, and we escaped after jumping down some hole that led to outside but with none of our stuff, which took all the wind out our sails and we stopped playing.
