I bought the game for $60 on release. Now it's $30 for complete edition. Can't even bother to give initial playerbase the DLC for free. LMAO
Been playing exclusively on my Steam Deck for nearly 100 hours, most of which has been solo. It's been an absolutely blast. The gameplay is solid, the looter shooter aspect is even better than Borderlands in my opinion with far more build variety even though you only have 4 classes to choose from. The main story was surprisingly really good, except for one thing near the end that was a B.S. handwave explanation, and the World Tier system is one of the best scaling systems I've experienced. I haven't touched the Worldslayer expansion content yet, but I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants a new Looter Shooter to play and is on the fence about it. The only negative is the fact that it's always online, hopefully they'll change that one day, but that one negative is outweighed by all the positives for me.
Older game now but I played it when it came out and loved it. Now we are replaying it and it still holds up. Graphics are still awesome and the game play is great. Lots of customizable weapons/gear and level up is an easy skill tree to figure out. I highly recommend this game.
Actually a decent little looter shooter. Not something someone could play forever, it is a good time.
We need more games like this. Screw Swords, shields and dragons. Give me guns, loot and moar dakka! This is a great game, now outriders 2 should be viable right? Come on guys, the game is great give it a second go.
single player online only, crash after crash after crash not worth it
Personally I really enjoy it. Gears like tactical or just run and gun. A good storyline and fair difficulty increase to match your character as you level up.
I wasn't here for the situation in the past. But coming to it as a new player, the game is pretty great. I play solo only too.
You've heard of "Bulletstorm", now meet "Bulletsponge". This game is dead, with barely 29 people active at all time. Quest markers are wonky, and in some sections fast travel doesn't even work. It's a shame, because it could be a casual shooter to pass the time with, instead, I feel like I'm frantically running around at all times with this game...
Underrated gem. Might have the most satisfying shooting of any game I've played. Falls a bit flat in terms of story. The premise and overall the first half of Outriders were pretty interesting plot-wise, but then it just got a bit boring. But the combat is the saving grace here. If you enjoy such types of shooters you can give Outriders a try.
