ok, after playing this game i can say that i have being robbed or scammed call it what you want. the game doesnt feel very polished, it feels unfinished. the concept is what sold me tbh but the the actual game was not up to it. these devs dare put the game on a discount and ripp us off. i say that is cruel and i wont be buying anygames from you and i wont be advertising it to my friends online. as some might have pointed out, the game performs badly too. it is a great concept, it was excecuted badly tho. i feel like i have just threw money in this.

I enjoyed my time playing this but I will never finish it as the end game grind is ridiculous. The game is buggy unfinished but it interesting enough to keep grinding for the next upgrade however the last straw was when I extracted a heap of heroic blueprints which the game acknowledged then it didn't allow access to them.
I didn’t like it. The resource collection is very boring, and the FPS elements are quite weak. The enemy AI is dumb. Personally, I don’t recommend it.
Got the game back when it first arrived on steam, wanted a base builder that gave me some freedom and the ambiguous blend this game offered got my attention. The game makes you grind, tooth and nail in fact, to be able to advance beyond the mid-game and actually navigate the end-game. Should you have the drive you'll accomplish that feat and then realize you have spent more than 200 hours into the game, then there's the endless modes (3 maps, 2 flavors, only one of which is customizable and 100% the swan song of the game). Pros: 1) Over the past year and some change, the devs have implemented a number of things the community have asked for such as the addition of the XEN turrets and having your auto-loaders deploy as close to fully stocked as your warehouse allows. 2) The "Boss battles" truly feel like one. Over the top entrances with some theatrics befitting what one should expect in the first 30 seconds of the realizing they've bitten off more than they could chew. 3) The game devs have truly built this game so the player can choose how they want to play. Want a mega-fortress that can AFK endless? Want a bot army and play this like an RTS? Want a super soldier? Want to min-max some stuff? The limiting factors are the RNG tables and how heavy you want to grind. Cons: 1) Again, I've had the game since the beginning. The dev team have apparently started an "Outpost 2". Given this game has been out for over a year it makes sense but it also screams that this game will have limited support moving forward and is likely in its "final state" barring a critical update or a plesant surprise. 2) Bigger guns always mean bigger explosions and harder hits... unfortunately this also deals a heavy blow to your PC. Not saying you need something from a sci-fi flick but if you don't have the hardware then your gaming experience will be prone to fatal crashes as your hellfire turrets send hundreds of bullets per turret at the soon-to-be swiss cheese. 3) Base building. Funnily enough the very reason I got the game has a related con. I don't want this out of context but it almost had me drop the game about 5 hours in (a personal gripe, nothing more). In order to build "the bigger/better thing" you often times have to give up multiple of "the smaller/not so good now thing". It is all fine and dandy till you realize this will drastically incresase the time spent on re-building your base. All in all it is a fun time albeit repetitive. I recommend the game if you enjoy looter-shooters and tower defense sprinkled on a massive scoop of base building. My experience was purely solo though co-op is a thing. I can't comment on anything tied to co-op outside of having a battle-buddy or three can make it significantly easier, especially with the "divide and conquer" style of play.
