Not for the faint of heart You will fail you will die you will meet wonderful people you will cause car accidents you will ...you will intercept monster tornadoes. My advice drive the stock car till Dominator 3 and find the best performance and graphics settings possible. Im at the end game of an early access game. Best decision was getting this game, and playing it. 114 hours in and its still fresh XD.
Totally recommend this game if you're interested in storm chasing or tornado development.

SUPER HECCIN FUN! 10/10 on how realistic they kept it all with all the equipment and everything! huge recc to everyone thats into simulators that actually keep u active the whole time!
Needs polish. But, considering it's early access that's to be expected. It scratches the itch of that childhood dream without the constant windshield replacements, questionable decisions, and likely unemployment. As it stands now, the weather generation has a tendency to spawn a massive field of micro-cells that randomly drop weak short lived tornadoes in random directions, but usually gets the supercell and line storms more or less "good enough." Other weirdness: Will occasionally drop a funnel on a storm with no rotation and/or no cape for miles around. Also, it has a tendency to produce conditions that would spawn anti-cyclonic tornadoes more frequently than in reality, but doesn't seem to support their generation in any case. Scenery could use some "fit it together properly" polish. Road network has some "who would do this" moments. Debris have oversized collision boxes and may end up submerged or suspended over the road. Loading dynamic changes causes extreme stuttering. You will frequently slam into invisible things. Driving model feels a little sloppy, extremely tight turns at slow speeds and understeers way to much at higher speeds. Small bumps wreck your ride. The entire environment is scaled down, so this messes with perspectives, distances, and speeds: IE: Speedometer says 50 mph in town, but your mind says "I'm passing that house at like 25mph, tops." Definately both playable and enjoyable as is, though.
Okay hear me out this game in concept is really cool and I understand it being early access. But it won't boot after reinstalling and reverifying files. They have their weather system down but on the ground level details it still has that "Unity game look." Like it's very possible to change how the look of the game into their intended realism goals but at the moment arcade-y.
I've invested hundreds of hours into Roblox Twister. When OuTBRK was announced, I had high hopes to have a standalone game with a similar expierence. Unfortunatley thats not the case here. This game is fun, but its very lacking to even be a early access game. There is no DOW or NWS intergration at all. There is no weather radio intergration like on Roblox Twister which was one of the more interesting things i enjoyed. This game is quite literally a game where you load in, drive to intercept a tornado, drop your probe, earn about 6,000 - 10,000 coins per intercept if directly intercepted, and thats it. I've played for 6 hours straight and have intercepted maybe 20 different EF-1 twisters and had one single EF-5. The Tornadoes look cartoonish, and to say that somehow Roblox Twister somehow beat this standalone at that is, well, puzzling. Each decent vehicle cost 60,000+ with the tornado interceptors at 200,000. The most interesting thing about this game is that there is absolutley no reason to upgrade anything. Upgrading your probe, putting mesonets on your cars, etc holds absolutley zero monetary reward value. You can earn exactly the same amount of money using the base game free probes vs grinding for DAYS to upgrade for literally no reason. The towns are sparse, with little density. The windshield wipers on the cars are absolutley cosmetic only. Its just dissapointing in so many ways that a Roblox game holds so much more immersion, options, etc. Not only that, but this game runs at 17 FPS often for me. I have a 3060, Ryzen 5 5600x, 32GB DDR5. After asking about these concerns in the discord, I was informed that this game is "skill based" instead of "grind based" but I just dont quite understand its purpose. Drive for an IRL hour to intercept a twister thats not immersive or intimidating just to earn a few coins that you can use to upgrade cosmetics only. Seems like the kind of game you play twice and forget about forever.
Лучшая игра про торнадо на данный момент, единственный нюасн это резкие просады фпс при торможении, а так игра лучшая
Honestly, great game in my opinion. Just 10 hours in so far, but it will definitely be more in the coming days, weeks and maybe even months to be honest. The game is great. Realistic and tries to teach you something real, or well, the best it can for a game anyway. The chasing is fun, the grind is not TOO BAD, the graphics for the storms and tornadoes themselves are really good, while the characters, building, terrain, etc. still can be improved. The only real problems I have encountered with this game are: 1. There is singleplayer, but to play privately with 1 or 2 friends is NOT possible, as you will need at least a lobby of 4 players to do so. 2. The multiplayer is pretty unstable, the lag can become really bad, which brings me to 3. 3. I have a decent gaming laptop, not bad, not very good either, but with graphics all on low, almost the lowest, I still manage to go to 20fps almost constantly, with some moments of relief. I have no idea why it is so demanding, but I hope, and I most likely feel like, the developers will at SOME POINT make a performance update, I mean, it would make sense to broaden their community by allowing weaker pcs and laptops to run it too. And for some final thoughts: 1. I really hope the developers continue to update the game and work on it, its really good, and I wait for the performance update. 2. The people that complain that it is slow paced and there isnt a lot to do, fair enough, we all get opinions, but do consider what me and also the game tells you when you OPEN IT UP: its still EARLY ACCESS and you are following realistic tornadoes. I have even had a game so far where no tornado spawned in, and I am not mad about it, it happens, if you really want fast action, chaotic and intense natural disaster games, there are others! This I would consider more of a visual/relaxing game, maybe even educational. 3. And this is NOT for me to say, but my opinion on the games price: a BIT too expensive. I got it on sale, so, a price of 25-30 euros is just about right in my opinion. Final rating (in my opinion): 9/10
