Its a good game but with the update i cant play the game now useing a computer thats running windows 8.
Well this game just gave me an itch to scratch. I haven't played any games like this before so I can't really compare it to anything else but it certainly is addicting.
Only played a few hours yet (and thus might edit later), but thoroughly enjoying myself. Very solid gameplay loop. Strategic planning and min-maxing is highly encouraged; in-game achievements such as defeating a boss within a certain amount of time or number of encounters essentially require this, and net you points that you can spend on very powerful abilities for your character. Said characters have very distinct strengths (and special abilities), so it never feels like you might as well be playing one character in different outfits. One feature I particularly like is that progress with one character helps out the rest: 10% of the overall XP multiplier of one character buffs the others, and they will get more Boss and Skill Points if other characters have also defeated the bosses they have. QoL features such as equipment and stat allocation load-outs already exist, as well as an entirely separate 'Ascended Mode'--which in no way was counted for the 15 hours of playtime currently mentioned, as it is far more difficult than the regular mode, though not to the point of becoming flat-out frustrating (not to me, at least). Runs never feel wasted; there's always progress made somewhere, giving you that steady, satisfying supply of dopamine hits. If you don't mind (or like) The Grind™, give this one a shot, I'm pleasantly surprised by how polished this already feels, especially compared to other EA titles at this price point. Looking forward to seeing where the dev takes this!

It's a grinder, so if you're multi tasking this is perfect to come back to.
Surprisingly simple yet captivating
Found this after seeing it on itch.io. What a great game! You start at level 1 with zero gold each time, and make your way through different paths marked with the levels of the enemies in them. Every level you get to distribute the stats you gain. Gold is used to buy gear which is a permanent unlock. You have another character that has different gear and stat emphasis as well. When both of you beat a boss, both characters get an extra point for talents. The game loop is simple yet satisfying. High recommend if you like this style of game.
The game is amazing. 5 Stars!
It's a pretty great incremental game. You have multiple ways of making meta-progressions (equipment, augments, and the exp multiplier) so you feel like you're always making progress. It also gives you quite a lot of room to make strategic choices to speed up the rate at which you make progress. Every run doesn't last very long, which creates an urge to do just one more run, thus making the game somewhat addicting. Some parts of the game still feel a little rough (the balancing, explaining features, and the achievements), but that's to be expected form a game that only just entered early access.
Well made game! Great Inflation RPG vibes!
